I have a wide foot so I always get torn about buying a wide, or just get a half size more. I opted for a 10.5 instead of a 10w. Gives me extra room in the toe length, while the shoe still fits snug on the sides. Probably a bit to narrow, but I don’t know what the wide would of felt like. All in all, I like the fit, makes my foot feel good, and my planters fasciitis hasn’t acted up. Arch feels great, very stable, and heel is secure, even with the half size larger. I use this shoe for fitness walking outdoors. Probably 25 - 28 miles a week.

Have a broken little toe that isnt healing right. Needed a pair of shoes to wear that would give me enough room to not put pressure on it. These do that. They are also very spongy. Probably one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes Ive ever owned. They dont look like theyll last as long as most shoes I own, but I dont wear tennis shoes every day so Ill probably still get a year out of them.

I have been running Asics for yrs, this model is as good as it gets. Its very comfortable, and great feel and it one of the better shoes I have run in. I have arch supports and even with that the shoes are solid. I usually wear a size 10.5-11 but I got a size 12 in this shoe and it fits like a glove. Recommend

Ordered the 4E which wasn’t as wide as I thought it would be, but it’s a comfortable shoe. I use it for exercising (jogging) and it gets a little tight after approx 2 miles.

Ive worn Asics for distance running since 1999 (my first marathon year). The 1000 and 2000 series have been my go-to shoes all those years. The 1000 series has always been a "capable cousin" to the slightly more expensive 2000s - but thats no longer the case with this model. I ordered them this spring for a mid-June half marathon. Ive worn the same size Asics for 20 years but now theyre very snug and I had to exchange them for a size up. Odd. The materials in general seem cheaper - but especially between my foot and the ground. The sole and inner shoe dont give me the support I need on any run beyond about 3 miles. Certainly not 13.1 miles! I had to hurriedly switch shoes to the more expensive Cumulus which provided ample support for my half marathon 2 weeks ago.
