Coach for a 10u travel baseball team. This is a very well-made turf shoe. Sturdy platform, lots of support, and not at all a minimalist shoe. Does require some breaking in, since they’re pretty stiff out of the box. The laces actually tuck into a pocket at the top of the shoe’s tongue, which is a nice feature for the long laces. Have only practiced in these so far, but they’re friendly on the feet for 4+ hours of use. Looking forward to having these for tournament play, where I can have a comfortable, sturdy shoe for several hours at a time. I’m hoping the solid construction lends this shoe to lots of wear and multiple seasons.

The fit is terrible. Ive worn the 4040s and they are great. I thought these would be similar, but theyre not. Too much toe space and there is this material that on the inside top top toe area the catches on my toes. Avoid at all costs. I wore them once to see if I could tolerate the material interference and it didnt work out, so I basically wasted my money.

I took the chance since I could return these. I think the sizing issue is specific to the wide widths. Too narrow across the top down through to the toes and the arch support starts at the heel creating discomfort across the whole shoe.

I bought these a couple weeks ago. I definitely like the look and fit of this shoe. The fit/size for me is as expected. Unfortunately for me, the toe box is a bit cramped. I have those wide banana tree climbing Filipino feet, and I definitely should’ve ordered wide. I was hoping for a bit more arch support, but I was let down, as usual. The arch support is not too lacking- I just need more. I wear these for coaching and not for personal training or everyday use, although sometimes I do wear them around town for errands. On long road trip gamedays, I haven’t had a problem putting them on at 7:30am, until I get home at 10:30pm. Actually, I tend to take them off on the bus trip up for a while at a time just to be comfy. This keeps my feet loose and cool and I put them on when needed. I air out on the way back too. Wearing these shoes, pretty much all day long, from the bitter cold to very warm temps in the afternoon, have been just fine. If you put on “CLEAN” socks after you “Shower” and air out once in a while, you’ll avoid stinky feet. That’s how I do it. Now, unfortunately for some people out there, there’s just no avoiding stinky feet. Use diligence in maintaining your shoe, clean them often and always air them out and you’ll enjoy these shoes for a long time. I’m going to order the same size, but wide next time. These are going to my son when I get my new pair in about a week or so.

This is the first turf softball shoe that not only feels good when you put it on but it seems to be well made. Fit like a glove with no break-in what so ever. I really liked the different colors to go along with my team jerseys. Ive only worn a couple times but they felt really good so time will tell. The New Balance Mens 3000v4 Turf Baseball Shoe is replacing my last 2 NB trainers that hurt my feet, so Im real happy with this shoe.
