Started walking at least 32 minutes a day after recovering from a mini-stroke. At first, I wore my work shoes and clocked in about 1.8 to 1.9 miles according to a GPS sports tracking app. After I bought these, my distance jumped to at least 2 miles. From Day One, the shoes fit like they were broken in. They’re more cushiony than the work shoes with a thicker heel that induces a toes-down step. Perhaps all of that results in a cadence and stride that eats up the concrete.

Bought as a gift Nike sneakers. I ordered a size 10 D that my spouse has worn for the last 50 years including other Nike sneakers. Could not wear with or without socks to small.

I bought this pair thinking theyd feel the same as the brown suede version (same model) I bought a few months ago. At first, these shoes were very stiff and made my feet hurt a little after a long day. The brown ones were perfect right out of the box, so I was concerned this black pair was going to be trouble. They did fit right, just...stiff. Now that I have worn them several times (for shorter durations so my feet didnt get sore), they are finally comfortable. I do like the style and I have had success with NB shoes to combat my plantar fasciitis that has been a problem for a while. So, I am hopeful that this pair is going to be like my other pairs of NB - comfortable, good looking and long lasting. Four stars due to the initial rough break in period. It would be 4.5 if that was allowed by the gods of Amazon.

Purchased this shoe for my grown son; size 10 1/2 EE; they fit perfectly, he appreciates how comfortable they are. Reviews are correct in saying they are great for every day wear; well-constructed, extremely comfortable, and look good to wear anywhere. Son is diabetic; hence he is careful when purchasing shoes, but these fit great; thus he can wear them all day for working out, hiking, on the job - - wears w/shorts or long pants, and states that his feet never get tired or sweaty. This was a smart purchase, and I am thrilled that Amazon has them in stock. This is a really good looking shoe, and I would not hesitate to purchase again.

My old pair of New Balance 608V2 shoes were pretty worn out so I started looking at the newer versions and came across these 608v5 models. Super comfortable - feel like theyre broken in right out of the box. Lighter than the older ones as well. These are my church and dress up shoes as well as just good old everyday shoes if needed. Worth every $
