Ive been wearing NB shoes for many years because of my wide feet. I ordinarily wear a 12 W for running/gym. I was looking for a casual gym shoe to wear outside of the gym and went with this model. The shoe looks great and is very stretchable and breathable. It is so stretchable that I actually had to return and go down a half size. I agree with other reviewers that this shoe may not be the best if youre looking for firm support in or out of the gym, but for a general purpose shoe especially in warmer climates I think this will bit the bill perfectly.

I have worn New Balance shoes for almost 25 years. These are the first pair I have had to send back. There is no support in these shoes. As soon as I put them on I thought these were odd. There is no support on the sides of the shoes. The material is super light and kind of stretchy. As if I was wearing socks with laces! My feet move around inside the shoe even though they are the right fit. I can see myself tripping or injuring myself in these. Even worse twisting an ankle if I came down wrong on something due to the lack of support in the shoes. These are going back!

Bought 3 pair. I rotate daily mon-fri for my office job. It has been less that 2 months since they arrived, and they are falling apart. Lace loops pull out, upper separating from soul, and fabric fraying. I am very very disappointed. I always wore the Arishi, but they are getting hard to find. NB is the only shoe that fits my oddly shaped feet. I am totally bummed that I essentially paid $70 for 2 weeks of wear.

For the longest time I have been a 13 4E in New Balance shoes. Found these for a great price in the size I have always been in New Balance shoes. Not sure what has happened, but this is not any where close to a 4E. It is probably closer to an E or maybe a 2E. If you havent purchased New Balance for a while (I am stuck in dress shoes the majority of my time, so my sneakers last forever) I would highly recommend trying them on at a store before ordering them in your typical size so you dont have to hassle with a return.

I am thoroughly impressed with these shoes. I was debating between these and some 247s. I wear these shoes casually, not for athletics. They look really good with a pair of chinos on, but I do not think they would look good in jeans. I have been complimented several time of their style. They are also very comfortable. I highly recommend these bad boys!
