This shoe is very light weight and has a well cushioned foot bed. But there is no padding in the upper and it lacks stability. Also, the design where there is no separate tongue on the shoe (it’s integral to the upper) makes it difficult to put on. Without padding in the upper I would recommend that you buy them one size smaller. And I wouldn’t expect to run in this shoe. Walking is about the most you should expect to do safely.

I am thrilled with these shoes when they arrived. Any critical reviews describe common issues with Mesh/textile running shoes. If that is the style you or your kid wants, it looks and feels like his more high end versions of this style. The price was so good I was not sure what I would get and I’m happy!

I like that they work as slip-ons and are comfortable for around the house or office, but dont think about doing any amount of serious walking or even think about running(jogging) in these- theres not enough arch or side support. For what I wear them for, Id buy again.
