I wrote an earlier review giving these shoes 4 stars. Im changing that to 2. Im giving them a 2 because they are comfortable as walking shoes. The reason for the demotion is due to the mesh material they are subject to getting holes in them which is poor construction, so my earlier praise is gone. I was getting out of my car and bumped the door with my foot resulting in a small hole in the shoe at the toe. Nothing you can do to fix it. So now water comes in and you can see your foot or sock if white. I missed the return date by one day. Too much money to get holes in them. You shouldnt go around being afraid of your shoe getting holes. New Balance should know better and so should I.

As already mentioned, better to get a half size larger than your normal size. The shoe also has a really good, grippy sole that is awesomely cushioned. I just use it for walking around town or light trails. Its not so technical looking that it looks strange for in town use either. Have gotten many compliments on this shoe.

I am generally pretty easy-going with shoes, and I normally dont feel compelled to write purely negative reviews, but to me this shoe seems like someone had a concept and they never tested it on a human foot. I typically wear a normal-width shoe, around size 12, give or take a half size. I like the visual style of this shoe, but the fit -- I have trouble describing it, its not like it was universally too narrow or vertically tight or anything, it just seemed tight in weird places, like midfoot, just before the toebox expands (but the toes themselves were fine). Anyway, the return was easy, which I appreciate!

The Sneaker looked fine from pictures and Ive been buying New Balance for their wide fit for many years however the opening is far too small to insert the foot, gave them to my Son who is a shoe size smaller and he couldnt get them to slip on either. From the appearance and description I didnt notice they were slip ons so not sure what ill do with them

It fits as expected. I bought it for my work because my skeckers shoes was already breaking apart for using it for 1 year. I will comment on the wear and tear of these new balance shoes when i have worn it for a couple months. So look out for that nxt. Though I have a comment on the delivery. The person who dropped it off was driving a black toyota. I could not tell if it was a amazon car cuz when it drove off it was hard to tell if it had the blue smile with the blue amazon writing on it.. thats all i have to say. again, i will comment on the wear and tear after a couple of months of wearing it.
