While this shoe feels comfortable, it just does not provide the stability that a running shoe should have. My foot would go back and forth since the top is lightweight fabric and the bottom being foam is just too much cushion. There needs to be more support before I could recommend this shoe. New Balance is the best though. Try the 993!

I have waited to review these new balance Cruz v2 sneakers till I could see if several bad reviews on Amazon showed any merit. Well they do not! From a person walking all day in severe foot pain these sneakers were my last resort. The result: they work and offer many sizes (this includes various widths ) and several colors. Lastly, the design helps you walk properly which helps your whole skeletal structure. Try them, you will like them.

I would hesitate to describe these as running shoes; there is no support of any kind and you could never describe them as sturdy. I just wanted a comfortable shoe and they are perfect for that.They are comfortable and extremely light and would be equally at home as a pair of slippers or casuals to walk round town. Also smart looking. Recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable shoe. Im extremely happy with them. Would recommend that you buy half a size larger that you would normally get.

Like the comfort the best. I have a wide foot to begin with and some bunion problems added in. The stretch mesh of the shoe accommodates my weird feet and results in a very comfortable fit, all day. Second thing is that I have an another older model of this shoe with a soft heel, but a pull on tab that makes it easy to pull on quickly. The newer shoe has a hardened rubber heel without the pull on tab that makes it a little harder to get on but gives much more comfort when walking. Excellent shoe, I highly recommend. And, oh yes, they really look good!

Coming from wearing grippy hiking shoes for work, these shoes are amazing. Walking almost never felt more comfortable. These shoes wont replace your merrells for hiking. But if concrete floors bother your feet, give these a try! I went with medium width, right shoe was just a little tight at first. After a 12 hour shift they had stretched to a perfect fit.
