These are very comfy, supportive, good quality shoes. I give 5 stars for those qualities. However, I find that for me, these shoes run a little long. I have wider feet, so my shoe size goes anywhere from 10-11 depending on the brand. Shoes that are shorter but wider fit me better than shoes like these and some other brands like Nike, which generally are longer and narrower. So if your feet are built like mine, you might want to get a full size smaller than you normally would, or at least a half size smaller. I got a half size smaller than normal (I got a 10.5) and theyre still a little big.

Great pair of shoes! Ive been wearing a pair of (New Balance) 410s for a long time. They were so comfortable (and light) that I decided to purchase these MX517v1s to see if they were similar. They are. Very comfortable, fits as expected (I wear size 9), almost as light as my old 410s, and roomy. I really love the EW (Extra wide) option. I dont really have wide feet, but having the extra room is nice especially since most people (including me) wear socks with my shoes.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. They provide a good cushion and good stability (Im a fast walker, not a runner). Theyre also comfortable to wear all day. I normally wear a 10 D in dress shoes and boots, but I always go to a 10.5 D for athletic shoes. That gives me a little extra room in the toes but keeps the shoes from being so big that my feet flop around in them. Ive owned several pairs of New Balance shoes in the past and this pair may be my favorite.

The main place I use these is the gym. The soles have great stick in that sitting at a machine, my feet do not slide out at all lifting weights. That is EXACTLY what I wanted. I used to wear 14 sneakers - Brooks. Now i wear size 15 New Balance for a similar fit. These size 15 are the smallest of New Balance, but still fit. New Balance seems to be getting smaller.

I have found that the new balance shoes don’t all fit the same, this particular pair seem to run a little smaller and also a little narrower than I expected. The other part of the shoe you’re really bothered me was on the heel where the logo is attached. It seems very rigid and within minutes of trying them on and walking around on the carpet in my house it was already starting to rub a sore spot at the base of my heel. That is why I sent these back, they just didn’t seem to fit right.
