ARIAT Men's Rambler Western Boot

Tan square toed boots had been catching my eye for a few years. Every time I’d asked someone what kind of boots they were wearing, they were Ariats. Everyone I talked to who’d had experience with Ariats loved them. My cousin moved here to Oklahama from Arkansas last year and recently purchased a pair. I was compelled to compliment him every time he wore them, and he continued to rave about them each time I did. I had him go with me to the store where he’d purchased his. The Rambler immediately caught my eye, but they didn’t have it in my size 11D (medium width), and the salesperson told me they had been discontinued. I tried on an 11D in the style my cousin had purchased (also a square toed boot) and they fit, as he, and the salesperson told me a new boot should, quite difficult to get on, and very tight across the bridge of the foot. I just didn’t like that style (which I can’t remember the name of to save my life) as much as the Rambler. I got on Amazon and started reading the reviews. Immediately it was obvious there were issues with consistency in sizing, some even stating that the sizing of the Rambler didn’t correlate to other styles within the brand. This was somewhat disconcerting, but with only one pair left in my size, I ordered anyway. They arrived today (1 day early!). The color was consistent with the boots I’d seen in the store. The quality looks great as far as the leather, stitching and soles are concerned. They took me 5-10 minutes to get on. I pushed my foot into one as far as I could, then I’d switch to the other, let the warmth of my feet soften and stretch the leather for a minute or two, and then repeat until I got them on. They fit just as the other style had in the store. I wore them for a few hours today and they already started to loosen up on the bridge of my foot a bit. I think after a few more days, they’ll be quite comfortable. I’m very happy with my purchase. I also purchased an Ariat roller belt to compliment the boots. I experienced none of the issues I’d read about in reviews about the holes on the belt being too small to fasten the belt without great difficulty.

This is my first pair of boots. I heard Ariat had a great name that makes quality products. I got my boots yesterday and it was love when i put the boot on. Very nice padded sole. The leather that goes up to your leg is very soft, no break in needed. You only really have to break in the toe. All in all i am pleased. I wish i went with the wicket brown instead though. The earth brown is not as dark as i would like but I’m not upset because I’ll use a boot polish that’s a little darker. Once again great boots!!! Do recommend.

Nice Boot. Tried this boot on at bass pro shops and really liked it. I am glad i went size smaller and had the chance to due this before purchasing. Amazon came in at $50 dollars less and received promptly and hassle free. This would be my 2nd pair and will most definitely purchase again.

Im not buying the comments saying the sizes are off. I will say I went to a big boot shop and tried on many brands. Decided on these and tried on all the sizes and widths. At the store I figured 9ee was the best three pair fit fine (Im well aware a new pair of slip ons should be tight and hard to get one new) Ordered the same size here and way way to small. No way I would get them on. The box is different from more stores so I assume a different manufacturer supplies amazon. Anyway sent them back for 9.5 ee and they fit just like the 9ee at the store. Take that info how you want. Thats what happened to me with one pair. So could be something that never happens. Boots are great and are pretty much broke in in a few days. A tip to get new boots on is lay plastic (I used the plastic in the box) on the part you need to slip. Then pull the plastic out when your foots in. After a week of that you should be able to get them on. Try it out.

First off finish on this boot is not as cool looking as the doctored corporate picture Ariat sends out to all their dealers Leather is not weathered and vintage looking like the picture and bottom and sides of boot black color Boot fits good and quality ok but noticed some lose threads I just feel Ariat and other brands need to stop with these bullsht pics
