So I made the mistake of ordering my sneaker size, ye they were way to big, luckily Amazon is awesome to deal with for exchanges. I read the reviews here(thanks guys) and did some research on boot fitting for cowboy style boots, this was very helpful in figuring out how these should fit. The boot seems well built and the materials are soft and of good quality with no annoying stitching inside to rub up against you. This is my first pair of "cowboy boots" so I was not used to the feel of fitment at all, these are quite different from your conventional sneakers. Reading up on correct fitment was a great help, I luckily fit well with a 1/2 size down from my sneaker size, the points I read for correct fitment were: 1) Dont worry about the fitment of your toe to the front of the boot, rather focus on where the ball of your foot (width) sits on the widest part of the boot, this placement is key. 2) Confirm that the instep is snug on your foot, if its very loose you probably need a narrower boot or a size down, to tight would be a extra wide or a size up. 3) The heel slip on the new boots is expected, this I had no idea of, but I read the expected slip is about 1/2 an inch and you can feel if it is way too loose in the rear for the heel, this boot has just a bit of slip but not enough that it feels like my foot is going to move anywhere. Over all this has been a bit of an education, but Im very happy with the purchase now that I got the sizing figured out, I would highly recommend these provided that you find the size that best fits you.

Happy with these boots but minus a star for the size being so off. I am a 9 to 10 in ordinary shoes but a 7 in this boot! It took several orders to get this right, and even a local store sized me incorrectly. There is definitely a break in period of a few days, which also makes it even harder to size. A good fitting boot out the box might loosen up significantly . Ultimately, worth the hassle for these great looking and comfortable boots.

I put these bad boys on and instantly increased my ass kicking by at least 30%. First I kicked some items off a coworkers desk, success. Next I kicked over a stack of boxes, easy. I felt unstoppable in my new boots. These s*** kickers are the genuine article.

Buy a size smaller than your tennis shoe size and wide. I measured my feet at a shoe store before buying these and I was a 10 D on the money. Based on reviews I ordered a 9.5 EE and it payed off. They do not need to be broken in at all the way they fit my feet. Im sure if you even went a full size down that would be fine as boots generally need a break in period. If you order a size D you better either have really narrow feet or be ready to wear these uncomfortably for a few weeks till they stretch out. That being said if you can size them right these boots are extremely comfortable out of the box. They feel well made and I think they will hold up well (may update after some prolonged usage. I also love the look of these, and Id say the picture does a pretty good job depicting the color of them. 4 stars because of the odd sizing but everything else about this boot appears to be excellent. All in all, I love these boots and would definitely buy them again.

First time cowboy boot guy here. A friend of mine had these and I thought they looked really cool, yet tough. So I decided to grab a pair. First on the sizing, which is a bit tough. I usually wear an 8, but got a 7.5 based on other comments. This size for my foot is perfect. But what I will say is that the boot is EXTREMELY hard to get on your foot for the first few days. It really takes putting them on, and taking them off a number of times to stretch them out. But once they do stretch out, they are easy to put on and surprisingly comfortable. As they are my first pair of cowboy boots, I dont have anything to compare them to, but I expected them to be more rigid and clunky. The wide toe box provides plenty of room towards the front, and I think it gives them more of a "work boot" look than cowboy boot. It becomes a preference thing, but I really think they look great. I live in Minnesota and had these boots on while sledding with my kids recently, and they held up great and my feet didnt get cold. But I will say be REALLY careful walking on any hard packed snow or ice. The soles of these boots are SUPER slick. To sum up my feelings, I find myself picking out jeans in the morning that will accommodate my boots because I look forward to wearing them! (Note: Im not an ultra-trendy guy, but I have found that my more slim-fit jeans do not look great with these boots. However Levis 513 jeans work perfect)
