Im not buying the comments saying the sizes are off. I will say I went to a big boot shop and tried on many brands. Decided on these and tried on all the sizes and widths. At the store I figured 9ee was the best three pair fit fine (Im well aware a new pair of slip ons should be tight and hard to get one new) Ordered the same size here and way way to small. No way I would get them on. The box is different from more stores so I assume a different manufacturer supplies amazon. Anyway sent them back for 9.5 ee and they fit just like the 9ee at the store. Take that info how you want. Thats what happened to me with one pair. So could be something that never happens. Boots are great and are pretty much broke in in a few days. A tip to get new boots on is lay plastic (I used the plastic in the box) on the part you need to slip. Then pull the plastic out when your foots in. After a week of that you should be able to get them on. Try it out.

First off finish on this boot is not as cool looking as the doctored corporate picture Ariat sends out to all their dealers Leather is not weathered and vintage looking like the picture and bottom and sides of boot black color Boot fits good and quality ok but noticed some lose threads I just feel Ariat and other brands need to stop with these bullsht pics

after listening to people i ordered an 8.5 EE when i normally wear and 9.5-10. im sure a 9EE would have worked too and maybe been better, but the size i got did the job. the sizing isnt good not just because you really need to order a full size smaller, but the left boot is noticeably smaller than the right so its not consistent. when i first got them it was a fight to get them on and they were incredibly stiff for about two weeks or more. if you arent ready for that dont buy them as its a process to get them worn in. once i wore them for about 2+ weeks hard, they are now very comfortable and I would and do wear them for a full day. the uppers are really soft but they stand up straight which is great. wish ariat would get their sizing straight as i own another pair of boots of theirs and i ordered my normal size and they fit as they should. would buy again but maybe try in person if you can because its definitely tricky to get the right size.

my 1st cowboy boot and it is excellent. Good fit, very comfortable and can wear it with anything. I wear a size 10 and bought this boot in a ten and it fits perfectly. This makes me ready to start looking for a 2nd cowboy boot, that is how much I love it. Love that it is not rigid but soft around the leg so it doesnt scratch at all my leg hair.

Husband couldnt even get them on no matter how hard he tried. I did not know that the top was not lined - it is just leather therefore does not offer help in getting the darn things on. I actually ordered larger than he wears just in case - figuring he could live with that and wear thick socks - nope - couldnt even get them on. Blues - was his surprise Christmas present.
