I wear 8.5M, and ordered accordingly, the fit of this boot is as expected (good). Overall I like how the boot fits and looks however, I found that they are cold to wear, had to buy wool socks to keep my feet warmer. Also the rubber sole is very slippery when wet and walking on certain hard surfaces such as metal, wet wooden steps, etc. In other words, not much grip. Another downside is they are not very breathable, so my feet sweat inside.

The product was not exactly what I was expecting, they are not really a boot in my mind, they are more akin to a sturdy shoe. They are well made, look good, and are a fine product for casual wear or light hiking/walking or light chore work. For them to be a work boot they would need a thicker sole for rock protection and a higher heel for in the saddle, in my opinion. Otherwise, they are a really nice product. No, I didnt send them back, I kept them and wearing them now.

I had to send back and order a size smaller which is working good for me now. Order a half to a full size smaller than you usually wear. These are very comfortable and so far seem well made.

My wife has three pairs of Ariats and has loved all three. She finally talked me in to buying a pair and I am glad she did. These are really nice boots, good fit and after wearing a few times to break in, these have become my favorite casual shoe. I have rarely had boots as I did not like the heaviness but these have given me a new prescriptive. These have replaced my regular walking shoes. I highly recommend.

These are perhaps the most uncomfortable boots I have worn, including the boots that were issued to me 40 years ago when I entered military basic training. The soles are stiff as is the hard leather they are made from. I would not recommend these boots at any price. These are maybe $30 boots that I paid $90 for. Ariat has entered a new low with this particular boot.
