This boot at first felt too big, but once started working with it, if ended up fitting like a glove. If you wear a 9 1/2 - 10, you will need a little thicker sock (like white athletic socks) but I actually said to my wife this last Saturday, "I love these boots". Very comfortable, very durable, had them out working in the rain this last week and they took the abuse without complaint. I would recommend this boot, as a work boot, not a hiking boot or a dress boot.

These are just what we needed around our small ranch. Good for everyday chores, stomping weeds, mucking stalls, feeding chickens, running with the dogs. Price wont break the bank and they are super comfortable and look great too. Cant go wrong with Ariat brand.

I developed Plantar Facsiitis after wearing these boots, it was devastating. The pain was horrible. This was to be my third pair of Ariat boots as I have had good luck with them. I thought maybe they had to "break in" so I would switch between these and my old Ariat boots. On the days I would wear these I almost could not walk...I finally threw them away and now my feet are fine. Im not sure if these are made by the same company as you buy at Academy but I will not be buying these again online.

Eh. Theyre decent boots, but I wont be wearing these everyday. I highly recommend you stop by a boot store instead, so that you can properly test out your boots before you buy. These boots dont really have a wear-in period, which is bad imo. Also the tops of the boot are REALLY wide, and are quite obtrusive through the pant leg. TLDR; Ill keep these for around the house but not out in public.

I USUALLY WEAR A SIZE 12 D IN JUSTIN BOOTS BUT THESE ARE 11.5 D AND FIT ME PERFECT ......GREAT FIT VERY COMFORTABLE BOOTS .....
