The boots fit as expected and stand up to the wear and tear of my day job (automotive and truck technician), while being worn outside of work almost daily. This is my third pair of Ariats in nine years, and I highly recommend them.

First off, these boots are very comfortable to wear for 50 hours a week. They had no break in period, they feel good to to go from the start. BUT... I bought these boots on Apr 12th and the soles are coming off the boots. They are completely separating on the sides, and the left heal is flapping when I walk. Im an electrician, so its not like Im digging ditches and beating these up. I was happy at first, but so let down by the lack of endurance. These boots cost too much money to fall apart so fast.

I went a full size down and boots are nice and tight should break in good. Very slim and soft sole which I like some of my nicer boots have heels hard as a rock. Flip side is I bet they wear down quick but so far very comfortable and look great. Update - Picture from 6 months of heavy use and they cleaned up well, still going strong,

Ive bought many boots in the past for work and casual wear but these Ariats are THE most comfortable and THE most lightest Ive worn. I wear these boots nearly everyday at work and while riding my motorcycle and I couldnt be happier with the craftsmanship and comfort. These boots took little time to break in and I could wear them all day without any aches. Im definately a fan of Ariat and will be buying more in different colors and styles.

I went to the local B--t Barn to check out boots and didnt find what I wanted so I rolled the dice and ordered these without seeing them in person. Arrived quickly and were in perfect condition. Fit and finish were great. The salesman from the brick and mortar store said it should "feel like the arch area of your foot is getting a firm handshake if they fit right", and this was what I got. Just solid and a great fit. I wouldnt hesitate to get them again. Thanks Amazon!
