I like the look (style and color) of these boots, and I like the sturdy construction and double stitching. I find them comfortable with regular socks on, but theres still room for thicker socks if I need them. I can tie the lace right above the lace eyes when Im in my office and I want the tops to be loose, or I can quickly engage the top four hooks if I want to lace them all the way up for snow or wet weather. The tongue, up to the top lace eye, is sealed to the shoe to keep water out, which is nice. They satisfy ASTM F2413-17 (which is imprinted inside the tongue), which exceeds the requirement for my work.

Second pair of Caterpiller shoes Ive purchased. First pair bought at a retail store needed to walk in them try out before I bought and believe me I spent half hour trying boots on that day. Im on my feet all day and arch support is important. This is different style from first pair but the size and comfort are same. I recommend these boots.

Got my boots in today. They are super comfortable and light compared to my other boots. It’s a good name brand and they look like they will hold up. They are a little different color than the brown in the pictures but it’s fine. I’m going to update after I wear them.

I wore these for 3 days and the buckle for the shoe lase began to scrape my foot. I bought a size to big and put insoles in them, i tried them with and with out insoles it still scraped my foot. They need more cushion in the shoe to protect your foot. I am amazed at how many companys dont understand that the metal will tear the boot. Ive tried so many steel toe and they all scrape my foot after a few months of use. But 3 days is a bit sad.

I am a landscaper, and these are the best boots Ive worn. They lace up tightly and dont loosen throughout the day. The steel toe is the perfect level of production against falling debris and tools. They do not constrict ankle movement. The material feels sturdy, and I expect them to last for years to come.
