Seem very well made but fit was a bit surprising. I have short wide feet and wear sizes 8.5 to 9 usually wide shoes so it surprising when these size 9 regular width boots fit nicely around my ankles and back half of my feet but there was so much room around the front part of the feet that my toes were free to wiggle as if I was bare foot, at least when wearing summer weight socks and Im not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Feels great while Im using them as intended doing yard and carpentry work but Im not sure how my feet would feel with only the rear half supported after a five or ten mile hike. Wiggle room might be more restricted when cold weather comes and I get back to wearing heavy work or cold weather socks. Was tempted to send them back and get a smaller size but as stated they are probably fine for what they were intended for and my toes really like the wiggle room. Charles Leach

I have plantar fasciitis and new shoes, not to mention new BOOTS are a stressful purchase. I didnt wanna shell out 100s for a pair of top end boots, so after some research and reading other reviews I settled on this pair from Ever Boots. Boots sizing seems consistent with other boots Ive owned in the past. They were comfortable out of the box and now after a few weeks are VERY comfortable. We have had some cold mornings now in the teens and the insulation in the boot is light, not insulated for arctic treks, but for midwest winters I think they will be great. The boot weight wise is somewhere in the middle--not light, but not overly heavy. Construction seems to be high quality. I will come back sometime to update this in regards to long-term durability. As for recommending to others with plantar fasciitis, I can only say that these are comfortable for me wearing all day long with plenty of cushioning (although I am not on my feet all day). Others may have less positive experiences...

**update 11/13/17 Did not last. One thing after another Great boot. So far so good. These boots look like one of my favorite boots the timberland titan pro. Those boots even without the steel toe can go for almost $140 in the waterproof version, but wont even last me a year. Well see how these compare in durability. The laces on these boots are junk, but no biggie. Took laces off one of my timberland boots and all is well. Pretty happy with the price. Ill report back later with more info.

I am a construction foreman and put in between 6 to 8 miles of walking and climbing in all sorts of weather and terrain. I bought these boots 14 months ago and they are still going strong. I bought a second pair 4 months after the first but so far there is just no reason to switch them out.the sole is still good, they are still comfortable and today I walked through 6" of water and my feet were still dry, pretty amazing after 1500 + miles. I liked the nonwaterproof Ever boots so much that I bought these. My nonwateproof pair and the waterproof model are my favorite footwear ever -- and Im 65! Thats a lotta shoes, baby. These are good looking, durable, and so comfortable that sometimes I actually forget to take them off before its time for bed. What else is there? Oh, yes: Economical. These boots have got to be the best deal out there. Sizing is not a problem. Theyre said to run big, but how big? I bought my actual size. After I tried them on, I bought gel inserts. Perfect fit. Like they were made for me. Even with the insole purchase, the boots are still a deal. Also, the inserts extend the life of the boots -- ;how long? Who knows? I probably never will. When the inserts get the life squished out of them, I just get a new pair of inserts and lay them right on top.
