This is my 3rd pair of Romeos. I bought my first pair 12 years ago. I lost them in a move. My second pair lasted me for 8 years. I wore them to work, as a finish carpenter. I also wore them to ride my motorcycles, Buell sport bikes, not cruisers. They are amazing for riding, and hold up well. They are my favorite shoes for riding. The leather holds up better than any other. Not having any filler or cushion on the top, makes them ideal for riding. My left foot easily found its way under the shifter, unlike many other shoes. The heal is perfectly placed to lock onto my pegs. After so many years, the insoles were the first to go, followed by the soles. After so many years of daily wear though, I have never found any shoe so comfortable and oong lasting. I will buy and wear theses until the day I die.

This is my second pair of Romeos. I really am enjoying this pair because I got the size that I actually needed. My first pair that I got years ago was actually a size too big. When I put these on I thought they might be a bit tight, but after a while of wearing them they loosened up a bit and fit perfectly. I wear these for a full day at a time or just to run outside real quick. They are about as convenient of a shoe as you can wear. They give great support for your feet and wearing them all day is not a problem. The only issue I have ever seen with Georgia Romeo shoes is after a few years the soles start to crack and pieces will fall off. That is what started to happen to my last pair and to my wifes. It is not a deal breaker since we definitely have gotten plenty of use out of them.

Very sturdy, well built, and good looking. They for properly. I bought these because theyre slip on, and I needed a work shoe I could get on and off quickly. However getting them on the first time was anything but quick and easy. It was a real wrestling match. One month later, they are breaking in nicely, but I do use a shoe horn to get into them still. I like everything else about them so much, I can overlook this one little glitch.

As my current pair of Romeos are reaching their end of life, I decided to start breaking in a new pair. As expected, the elastic is tight and so is the leather. Thus, the need for break-in. I expect a couple of weeks of regular wearing before they are truly comfy. Until then, its a matter of letting them wear to my feet. Its been 7 days and no sores or blisters, which I didnt expect, but thought I should mention. Each on/off cycle is getting easier, and I expect to get a good 4 years out of these boots on the ranch! Georgia Boots has never let me down!

Ive had these for a month, but theyve felt like Ive worn them for years since the second day. I ordered my usual shoe size and I did struggle getting them on the first day, using my normal socks, and they were VERY tight. But I went for a three-mile walk and they felt much better. Then I dug out my old backpacking polypropylene liner socks and used them the second day: much easier to get the shoes on and off. Another three-mile walk and they are old friends. I dont know if they will stretch enough to use normal cotton socks but it doesnt matter, the liner socks are readily available on Amazon. To my surprise they are quite supportive and comfortable on concrete despite the fairly hard sole material. Part of the comfort on concrete is probably the amount of support they give. Bottom line: my reservations have evaporated and I recommend these wholeheartedly. Dont fight them, just use liner socks and break them in with a moderate walk and youll be happy with the result. (Side note: Despite the marketing blurb about "we do things different here in the South, etc." the shoes say made in China. Wherever, well made I must say.)
