I bought these for a package handler job and they work for me perfectly! I can accidentally kick metal and feel nothing. Very protective! You can feel the grip on these boots as you walk but they are still light and easy to walk in. Fit: Usually Im a size 7 but I got these in a 7.5. They fit snug around the ankle and heel leaving the front of my foot completely free so my toes are not crushed. These boots had no break in time for me. Comfortable from day one! Material: The entire boot seems well constructed. The leather is soft and the rubber seems high quality. The zipper on the side is fantastic; leaving no need to unlace these suckers when I want them off. Ive seen reviews about the zipper being difficult to operate but Ive had no issues. The laces leave something to be desired as they seem flimsy and thin so you might want to buy sturdier laces if thats your thing. All around great boot for work!

Ive got about 24 miles in them so far, and they seem to be fine, no complaints. I do wild land searches for deceased border crossers, also known as illegal aliens. Im out 4 days at a time, carrying 50 pounds of gear, so having comfortable boots is very important. These are comfortable, simple as that. Glad I found them. They fit in a manner that allows me to wear light socks, or very heavy socks, and I have not experienced any blisters so far at all, or even overly sensitive places that could turn into a blister. Even walking in the morning dew, the boots appeared wet, but my feet always felt dry. I dont think I give anything five stars, but his is close.

I only gave it one star because you cant give it zero stars. I just received the pair of boots that I had ordered, upon opening the box to inspect the item I ordered I found the quality to be less then satisfactory, the souls of the boots where poorly attached with glue every where, the boot laces where frayed, and when I tried them on for fit the eyelet pilled rite out of the rite boot. Needless to say I will be returning these boots and will find something from another company.

When I got these boots, I was surprised at how loose they were as I normally wear a 12D. These were a bit larger than the 12D fit I was used to but after putting in a comfort insert they fit much better. I’ve worn them 2-3 days a week for the last 4 months and was feeling okay about my purchase until today. Today I noticed the molded rubber portion of the sole coming undone (see the picture). I have not put these through any great hardship and generally walk just a few miles a day in them (I work in a prison). I am very disappointed they are already coming apart. You can tell by the lack of wear on the soles that these have not been abused. My Danners were more expensive but after 5 years they are still in great shape and are defect free. In the future I’ll just stick with my Danners.

I didnt expect a high quality product for $55, and I guess these boots are about right for the price. Im not a hunter or police or EMT, or I wouldve spent $150-$200 for quality boots. That said , Im not too disappointed in these . One issue I ran into, the cardboard sub-liner between the insole and the sole was glued in incorrectly, but I was able to cut a small section out with my pocketknife and it folded down properly. The insole covers the small cut , so it shouldnt be a problem, Not worth returning them for replacement for that minor issue. Durability rating is pending, but if they last a year or 2, Ill be satisfied.
