These hands down are the best tactical boots I’ve ever worn. I tried four different pairs of tactical boots before these including a Smith and Wesson series and found these to be exactly true to form. I wear an 11 W and they fit exactly as an 11 W for me. If you have a wider foot than average wide I would order a half to a half size up. These I found to not be hot after eight hours. Every boot will get somewhat hot, but these are the least hot that I’ve had of any tactical boot ever. They fit my feet like a glove perfectly. I normally wear an insert. I have not so far needed to order an insert to put in these. I usually order inserts that are moldable that you put in the oven for perfect fit. These so far don’t need it however even if they did I don’t care. All around I’d give these 5+ stars considering I tried 4 other pairs before this, and this win hands down for me.

first time getting this brand.comparible to the cushioning inserts of the timberland pro.which had gone up 100.00 since we had bought last pair a yr and 1/2 ago.he likes the side zip and comfort of shoe.he is a carpenter and wears out the ball of the shoe from constant foot bending and the shoe ends up cracking there but only on the rt shoe!! so we end up with good left shoes and worn out rights..its a good insert and the shoe fits good.so if the shoe fits wear it!!!he wears one pair of shoes til they are worn out,and then gets another pair

We started with them sending the wrong boot initially, but that was rectified fairly quickly. When the correct boot arrived their wide size was anything but. I was able to get my foot into the boot, and seemed at though, after some break-in, they would fit well enough. But, when I grabbed the zipper pull to zip the boot, it snapped at the least resistance. Needless to say, I returned the boot for a refund. If youre feet are narrow, and your calves are stick thin, these boots might work for you for a while. But I would advise the average user to move on to another boot.

So far these boots are holding up nicely for my fiancé. I bought them for him because his old boots smelled awful. We had Rocky’s and I’ve had mine for 2 years with no problems of smell or poor wear, his however smelled like cat pee. I don’t know why. These boots so far have no odor to them, nor do his socks when he takes them off. He says they’re so light weight it’s like wearing nothing at all. He hasn’t even had to insert his gel inserts into them, he claims he doesn’t need them because these boots are so comfortable. I guess time will tell how they’ll hold up walking prison floors all day lol.

I was happy how light these boots are when the box arrived. I bought these for summer motorcycle boots. These took a couple of days to break in and start to feel more comfortable. I thought they were the wrong size because they were so hard to put on. I wear a 13 medium but these were really tight, so much so that I checked the box to see if they sent the wrong size. By the end of the second day they felt better, but still kinda small for me. I wound up leaving the laces as loose as possible and using the velcro straps near the end to keep them loose as well. I wish they were ventilated more to help keep your feet cool, but they are definitely cooler than a traditional engineers motorcycle boot. I will try a thinner sock to see if it helps, but I would not recommend wearing them without socks. I guess I will see how they perform over the long haul.
