Upate 2 months: Ive only worn these for yard work, not daily, not even for hard work, yet they are falling apart. More stitching has come undone and some of the glue has weakened around the arch. The weak glue looks like the sole will separate from the shoe after more use. Im beyond the return window now and Im worried these wont last much longer before spontaneously falling apart. Considering others have had longer relationships with these boots Id guess there is a quality control problem. Original review: So far Ive used them pretty moderately. I havent done a lot of heavy walking in them or working in them. The stitch that holds the rubber sole of the boot has a loose strand already. Im worried about how long they will last and Ive only had them a month. I cut off the strand with a nail clipper and Ill update if I have further failures or defects. Updated 2 months: Pros: Comfortable sizing is good (size has room for thicker socks) good arch support side zipper for easy removal looks sturdy aggressive tread on sole price cons: quality defects stitching came loose? Weak glue doesnt breathe well no water resistance

Great inexpensive boots for motorcycling. I would recommend to secure the straps with cable ties (see photo, better get black cable ties though). Boots with straps are usually not a good idea for motorcycles because they can catch on the shift lever, but you can manage them with cable ties as mentioned. Fortunately you can get in and out of these boots by just opening the zipper. Other than that they are comfortable, fit true to size and the sole is really soft like the sole of sports shoes.

Im so conflicted. I loved these boots when they first came. The design is great, the cushion they come with is amazing (usually I throw out whatever inserts come with shoes and replace with spencos, no need to do that with these), and I love the zipper feature! My first pair lasted me an entire year of a lot of walking combined with activities around a horse farm meaning a lot of mud and muck. What happened was the right boot sort of disintegrated around the heel region, which makes total sense for me since I seem to have that effect on a lot of the shoes I wear. My second pair hasnt made it to six months. I know Im walking more than I did last year so there is that. I also learned that if Im doing something particularly long, I should make sure to lace up tightly. But the inner lining of the right boot is completely shot making it annoying to take off because I get tangled in the pieces. And the left boot has completely split down the side near the heel. Never had anything like that happen before in any boot. So Im really debating whether to go with a third pair or try some other brand. Seven months ago I wouldve given them five stars. Now Im offering 3 stars at best.

Bought these for my husband for a Christmas gift! He actually hurt his leg & ankle 2 weeks before Christmas & the way the boots are made it helps to support his ankle in the few weeks after Christmas, even his doctor was impressed. He absolutely loves them & says he never wants another pair of boots without the side zipper. Makes putting them on & off so quick. He owns a HVAC & Plumbing company & these took a few days to break in but he wears them everyday & one of the things he likes is they look good with his uniforms, & not so "work boots" for when he has meetings with clients in restaurants. But at the same time they are every bit the "work boots". Very well made, very comfortable, look good & clean up easily. They also have good traction on wet & muddy surfaces. They are the perfect work boots & the price is great!

Boots fit perfect. After one camping trip in the desert the sole covering came off. The sewing around the outer boot has slightly ripped due to heavy hiking in rocky desert terrain. These are cool looking boots easy to put on and off due to the side zipper. IMO these are an urban boot to look cool on city streets other than that for hiking and combat not made for rugged stuff as advertised. I already beat the shit out of them on a 5 day camping trip. A word of advise if your looking for a boot thats going to take a beating look somewhere else. Boots fit great look cool and are very comfortable other that I would not bother.
