God I wanted to keep these soooo bad. Theyre beautifully formed on the bottom, great ankle support, seemed well made, stiff in the good way, and flexible, and lightweight for boots...but that toe box! My toes went to sleep immediately after putting them on. It just didnt work for me. If they just came in a wider toe I would have found my PERFECT boot. Im female, I wear 6.5 in mens. I bought a 7. They were too big. They dont come smaller than 7, but Id suggest buying true to size, whatever size you are.

While these would typically would be seen as a backpacking or heavy duty hiking boot Ive used them as an everyday winter boot. Im not outside enough to need insulated winter boot so I opt for wool socks and a lighter hiking boot and it gets the job done. These boots fit great right out of the box, they feel like they are already broke in. Im used to wearong asolos which take forever to break in and have very firm soles. The salomons felt natural right away & provide decent cushion. Full disclosure I did put soft sole inserts in due to a foot injury most stock soles tend to cause pain. Even still the boots provide great traction, excellent comfort, and good waterproofing. I was walking through 2ft of snow today and my feet never once got wet. After awhile they would eventually get cold but I have zero concern of water getting through unless you were to step in a decent amount of water that would go over the top of the boot. Ill go out on a limp and say these are the best boots Ive purchased yet and look forward to my next pair of salomons.

Like many others have said, these boots are not durable. They are comfortable but so are flip flops. My soles came apart on my third hike with them. First two hikes were 3-4 miles to break them in then two weeks later did a 10 mile hike and they came apart all in less than three weeks from date of purchase. I am still fighting with Saloman customer noservice after two months. My advice would be to try a higher quality boot or a company with better costomer service.

These developed a hole within the first hunting trip my husband wore them on. The sole literally started coming apart. We returned and got another pair assuming the first pair was just defective. They are completely falling apart as well. DO. NOT. BUY THESE. Giant waste of money. Were trying to return these!

Got these as something to wear while hiking or with jeans around town or for casual Fridays at work. It takes a bit to get used to, my go to footwear is Danner boots, but trying to blend in better after moving to Seattle. Comfort is good, I can wear these all day without issue. They are very warm, so not sure about wearing them in the summer for hikes??
