Delivery took a couple weeks. Light weight, a great fit, and a rugged leather outer. Im quite happy with this shoe. I was looking for a hiker that was supportive, with good winter traction, and waterproof for slogging through the winter snow and slush. I also wanted it to look sporty enough to go with jeans or pocket pants. This shoe does all that. You will need to oil the leather to keep the appearance up as you would any wet weather shoe. A great purchase, I am completely satisfied.

These have been some of the best boots Ive owned. Theyre perfect for hiking or for wearing around anywhere. Great for rain as well. I like to tuck the laces in without tying them for a decently fashionable look. Ive actually been stopped twice and asked about what kind of boots these are. I stepped on a nail that was sticking out of a board this past weekend and the sole was thick enough that it stopped most of the nail. I did unfortunately have a slight puncture wound, but if I didnt have these boots on, Im sure the wound would have been much deeper and more serious based on the size of the nail. They have held up really well, but if they every fall apart I will definitely order them again.

I know people usually write reviews a week after using the product, but Im writing this 5 years after, so you can count on it! If youre looking a good hiking boots, you are in the right place. I even used to wear them for work once they were newer, but now I live in southern California, so apart from occasional rain, there is no real need for boots! they are not the lightest boots on the market, but they have great ankle support and the waterproof work as it should. Leather needs care; you cannot leave them damp and dirty from trip to trip. I personally clean them with a damp wipe immediately when I get back from hiking and then let them fully dry for 24 hours, then I apply "Timberland Waximum TM" to keep the leather in good shape until next trip.

I have bought these boots before, and have worn them for years. I love them! I wear them mostly for work, but they are good for hiking and just general all around wear. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day without my feet getting tired or sore. I wear them year round regardless of the weather or temperatures. I live in Ohio where we get extremes from below zero in the winter to 90s in the summer. Probably the only complaint I have would be the waterproofing is not that great. If you want a true waterproof boot these are probably not for you. Id call them water resistant, not waterproof. I purchased my third pair this Feb 2017. Both prior pairs were replaced because the soles wore down on one side of the heel. This is due to how I walk uneven, which is due to foot problems I have, and no fault of the boot. Considering that I basically live in these boots daily, all year round I think they hold up fairly well. I seem to get 3-4 years or so out of a pair. Ive read some of the negative reviews and saw concerns about eyelets pulling out, the quality not what it used to be, etc. They have photos so I dont disagree, but I can only speak for the pair I received now and they are the exact same quality as the first pair I bought years ago. Maybe there was a quality issue and its been resolved, or maybe just a bad batch... I dont know, but I love mine!!! The photo is my old pair Im replacing after 3 years of use. They actually still have a lot of life left in them.

I work on a roof doing solar and go through boots all the time. These lasted for two months which means the black bottom part wore through to the foam layer. You would think this is bad lol when in fact its pretty decent. Cheap walmart sneakers last about 2 days - a week on the roof, while their Brahma boots last about the same. These were more comfortable and felt stable. My foot did sweat in them but it is what it is. I got them when there was a sale on top of a sale, and I had money back from using my amazon card. So all in all this was only 30 bucks the first time. For 30 bucks these were a great deal. For 100 I will definetly look elsewhere, it is not worth it to me to spend that every 1.5-2 months. However this was a great boot and if your stupid pinky toe needs that extra room get the wides.
