Im a Timberland customer for the last 8 years. Ive probably purchased 8 pairs of White Ledges in that time. I work on my knees a lot (on concrete) and tend to scrape off the leather toes within 2-3 days (no exaggeration) So, I contacted Customer Support and they recommended these Boondocks. I often purchase them in advance so I have them "ready to go". Bad decision. These I purchased back in August of this year and just tried them 3 days ago. Right off the bat, they were a bit uncomfortable whereas the White Ledges tended to fit my like a glove. The arch support is not there like my ol WLs Ok, Ill wear them for a couple o days to see if I can wear them in. Theyre not getting any better...and my feet hurt now. I contacted Timberland and they wont support them because its more than 30 days since the purchase. Alright, this is their policy and I screwed up...but I now have these pretty new boots that I just want to get rid of. $179 bucks. Im not a happy mechanic.

Ive been searching for two months for boots that I would wear on a reg basics. Ive read numerous reviews and these were some of the BEST reviews I came across. I work Construction and generally were doing something different every other job. Sometimes were on our feet a lot, and sometimes not. Im not a small guy anymore, 220 5 11" and I think my feet are tired carrying all the weight. I know the boots Ive had in the past were OK for the first couple weeks, but NOTHING like these TIMS. Id come home from a long day and kick off my boots, and I could barely walk around straight b/c my feet would be hurting. The first day I wore these TIMS, OOOOHH MAAAN, I couldnt believe how good I felt all day. And, when I was at home after kicking them off. I had too get used to the Heaviness feeling and now I dont even notice it. Swear! The price was a bit more than I wanted too spend, but when I thought about it, this is my health and theyll probably last a few years... I could buy 3-4 pairs of my other boots in that duration and be in misery!

I have been wearing work boots for a very long time and feel as though I have tried just about all of the popular boots on the market as well as their most popular models. These have the most incredible room in the toe. My foot from the ball to the outside of the foot is not unusually wide. But I can definitely appreciate the extra room and wideness given to the front half of my foot by these boots. I also like the incredibly tough rubber reinforced toe. My only complaint about these boots is that any boot that costs this much should be complete and I shouldnt have to buy any extra padding for the footbed of the boot to make them comfortable to stand in all day long.

I have purchased at least 20 pairs of Timberland Pros and these were the first to give me serious ankle pain that would subside when I put on any other work boot (I have 4 pairs of Timberlands that I use in different colors and styles). Every time I put these on, I get bad pain, so I decided to try their "comfort guarantee). I have to pay to send them in and if they find a defect, they will only send a new pair. If the issue is how they are designed does not work for me, then I am stuck with them. $190 down the drain. Even if it is a defect, I do not want to go down this road with those boots because they are too heavy and bulky, but TIMBERLAND DOES NOT CARE! It is a shame, but I am done with them and will no longer support or recommend them to the many people in my industry. I would have thought that they could have worked something out to help me be a happy customer and I would continue to purchase their products, but they showed that they really do not care about our comfort at all and the guarantee does not mean anything.

I have been wearing these boots for a solid few months now and can give a proper review. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I used to wear RedWings only when I was a mine mechanic and I would wear out a $250+ pair in a year. I now travel very often so was looking for something lighter and with a composite toe so that I could wear them through airport security as even with TSA precheck you will have to remove steel toe boots. These absolutely fit the bill. There wasnt much of a break-in as far as I am used to with other boots where my feet hurt for a week or so until they are broken in. With these boots they feel like walking on pillows at first and is kind of weird, but comfortable. Once that goes away after a day or so they feel right at home. I have worn them for three months now on a daily basis and do not notice any excessive wear or threads coming out. They handled the snow just fine on a recent trip to Calgary, B.C. Most others in my position at work are surprised that I wear these through the airport as they wear tennis shoes and carry steel toe boots for jobsite visits, I recommend them every chance I get.
