I like them but what I have found with Timberlands is they run big and I need a half or a full size smaller so I am not walking around with clunkers on my feet. It wish they would make the fit more athletic like a sneaker like other boots I have do, other boats I have I buy in my size and I can wear them unlaced and not tied super tight like I have to do with these so they say on because they run big! I will upgrade to Redwings I find those fit better and I like them more but for the money these will do for now.

First be advised this fits as a true work boot and as such there is added room to compensate for extra thick work or winter socks. The inside is a bit tall. That being said, I applied a bit of saddle soap as soon as they arrived (a day early) and put in a set of gel insoles. Now I have comfort and durability. I wear a 14 and I the width/length combination is great. The bonus is the added style. The toe has a protective shell that maintains the shape of the boot and aids with minor protection. The boot is lightweight. I would recommend this boot and Id definitely buy it again. I like it. It also transforms effortlessly into a casual shoe. Definite plus! Get a pair.

Ok, so these did run what I feel to be about a half size too big. Maybe that’s just me... but it feels like my foot is a little loose in my size, 11. I wear wool socks to and they still feel a bit loose. But, they are so quality! The materials, the stitching, the sole, the laces, everything is just so aweomse. The leather is soft and supple, yet thick. I got compliments on them the first time I wore them out in public. They are comfortable and I can wear them all day though they do seem to lack a proper arch. Just really well made boots that look like a million dollars. Buy these, you won’t regret it. Just go a 1/2 size up...

I read that its size is larger than normal, so I first bought a 7 for my 8 feet. After realizing it was too small so I bought my second pair,a 8.5, only unfortunately to find it was too big for my feet. That was why I bought my third pair, an 8 size. It fit. So what I want to say here is: size of this 53009 is normal, not as many commented "larger". Feel free to choose your usual size.

I read the advice of another ( on this site) and ordered an half size smaller than I usually wear. It was Great advice. By ordering that 1/2 size smaller, made these boots fit perfect. These are very well made boots, I will come back to this spot if I encounter any issues..... So NO news is good news
