Ive been wearing these boots for almost 2 months now. I was looking for a cheaper boot to wear around the office. I typically wear Danners. They are super comfortable, and im enjoying the 6" boot. however they arent as durable as i was hoping. after about a week the finger loop on the left boot tore. and on the right boot the rear of heel has started to peel. super glue repaired both these issues though!. For the price point im still very pleased, but i dont think they would hold up for very long on any serious job site.

I believe these are knock offs. I’ve bought these boots from Red Wings the past 5 years and they have always felt broken in and soft after one or two uses. I’ve had these now for over a month and they are still stiff. I was being cheap trying to save $30 but will end up paying more because now I’m going to Red Wings to buy the REAL boots.

I only received the boots a few days ago, so this is a preliminary review based on a couple full days of weighing them. Summary initial impression is "AWESOME". I wear 11D and the fit is perfect for me. I cannot tolerate tight boots. As a day gets long and your feet get warm, you need boots with a little room, but not too much. These fit my dogs very nicely, both in length and width. I will also note that the boots slide on and off very easily. The leather is thick, rich and super supple. The tanning is even and first rate. They are beautiful boots. The insole in high density molded foam, covered with a durable fabric. They are comfy, but I may eventually replace them with something more customized to my feet. Thats just a personal preference, and not at all necessary. The soles are cushy and as such I would expect them to wear more quickly than something harder. Like tires, it is a trade off. If you want softer more comfortable soles, youre going to forfeit some longevity. I always opt to the side of comfort. Id rather buy a new pair of boots in a year than have sore feet. I specifically chose a work boot that had eyelets all the way to the top. Some might prefer speed lace eyelets. I do not. I lace to the top and put knots in the ends of the laces. I then loosen up the laces, slide my feet in, tighten them up and tie them off. It takes less hassle and less time to tie. I will also note that the included laces are exactly what I like. They are durable nylon that slide easily through the eyelets and tie off easily. The color is perfect for the boots. I seriously considered buying a pair of Red Wing Heritage boots for $280. I am glad I opted for these. Well see how they hold up, but even if they wear a little more quickly, I can buy nearly 4 pairs of these for the price of the Red Wings.

Only a week in with this boot so I cant talk about how they hold up. They look great feel good and have a soft insole . Somewhat large in size and the leather can be sore on the back of the heel first few days . Bottom has a very good slip oil proof rubber thats better than other boots I have worn . The angle is great for guys with lower back issues, good for standing all day boots

Please Read... These boots are very well made, solid soft sole, and durable leather. My only problem is the fit. I read in another post about sizing, well I had to send them back due to almost a 1/2 size variation (too big). I will add that this boot is deceivingly roomy, perhaps made for thick wool/work socks. Even with an thick wool sock, it was way too roomy of a fit and defeated the purpose of a sturdy work boot. Also, be prepared to have a full width toward the toe area- by this I mean there is very little to any narrowing from the heel to toe in the boot. You will have a round and roomie mock toe on these boots.
