What attracted me enough to buy these shoes was the aesthetic design. The color scheme is unique and the soles are not too wide or thick for me when driving stick shift. The bad news is the sole tore off after less than 2 weeks of use. I was trying to take them off by pulling on the heel part when the shoelaces were not completely lose. While I understand that this is a quick way to take shoes off, but not the safest way, shoes are supposed to be strong enough to withstand daily and normal abuse that comes with shoe wearing. For comparison, I have a pair of red shoes from Walmart that I bought 6 years ago for $20. I use it for 2-3 days per week as part of my shoe rotation for driving. Guess what? It is still here and works very well. Nothing on it has broken except for the sides of the sole that bend when I stand or squat on my toes. That part breaks on every shoe if the side of the sole wraps around the shoe like that, so it is understandable. Needless to say, I am very disappointed that these shoes broke on me. I was so disappointed that I just put it away, forgot about it, and even forgot to contact the seller for a refund or replacement.

Starting with the obvious plus: The look. This shoe looks nice, even when I got it, it looks really sleek. Now the problem is that it is ruined the moment you use it. Unlike many other shoes in its class this shoe stands firm, literally, and performs best when you...dont move. I walk to work daily and this shoe is terrible for that. First, you NEED insoles, which is fine, but one you start to move you get to see how the rest of the shoe is too stiff. The top of the shoe is made of a harder either plastic or firm cardboard material which doesnt have much give. This causes creases in the shoe when you bend it, so if you walk not flat footed, you have a huge blemish on your new, once good looking, shoe. And in case youre wondering, Im not talking about this wore down over several weeks/months of continuous use. I rotate my shoes fairly often, so I wore these like half a dozen times so far. However, this issue was present after the first 10-15 minutes. I decided to give it time to maybe stretch, but so far that hasnt worked out. Now dont get me wrong, the price is really good and maybe it is different for the other styles, but I got the black one and it was definitely an issue.

At first I would of rated these a 4 after highlighting the look and design, though comfort would of kept them at the 4 ceiling. However, now after just a little over a month of occasional use they are starting to crack at the shoes folding point. Its too bad as, again, I love the style.
