I buy a new pair between 1.5-2 years. Only use them in the gym. For Squat and Dead lift they are a great shoe. nice hard rubber sole to provide a stable platform when weight is sitting on your back or youre bent over a bar ready to pull weight from the floor. When the gym is filled with trendy Bros in designer foot wear you come prepared to move weight with the correct footwear. Real wear comes from the picky toe area with time. The pressure from pushing on the outside of the foot squatting tears a hole with time through the fabric and moves down into the rubber strip binding the fabric and sole. Thats when its time for new shoes for safety purpose. You dont want 405+ pounds on your back only to have the side of the shoe blow out risking knee joints trying to compensate.

No surprises here. For people that have been wearing Chucks their whole lives, these shoes are exactly what you have in mind. No frills but no surprises. If you want the super high end Chucks with lunarlon insoles then youll have to have to get em from Nike. Obviously Converse doesnt exist as a legit company anymore with its own factories and QC, etc. They are a market brand name only available to manufacturing companies interested in investing in the brand. The shoes I received completely met my expectations.

This shoe is very popular and trendy. I decided to by it or my girlfriend, however, she has never been a huge Converse fan, nor a Chuck Taylor fan. To join the fad, I purchased here a pair and it is nice, but she barely uses it because it is slightly bigger than it is supposed to be, and the shoe seems to be a little then on the sides near the bottom, but the top seed seems to be a little loose. She hasnt wore them or long, she rather have comfortable shoes that look good like Nike Flynits than these, however, they are god priced shoes, they are trendy, and its really to each their own. Buy in store and try it on is my recommendation.

I had a pair of these growing up, but for some reason hadnt bought a pair as an adult. Theyre the same as I remember! I selected "somewhat small" on how the shoe fits because these shoes are NARROW. But they fit, just be aware if you have wide feet, these will probably be uncomfortable, unless maybe you dont lace up the shoes. I wear a womens size 8.5 to 9 (closer to 9), ordered a womens 9 and they fit fine, getting a little snug in the ball of the foot/toe area with them laced up moderately tight. Anyway, these are great and FYI when you get them and are confused why the logo is on the inside of the ankle instead of the outside, I guess thats normal for the hi-tops whereas all of the other Converse styles have them on the outside...so these are legit!

I only have one complaint about these shoes, they are way too big. My finance he only ever wears skater shoes( and his favorite are converse) well the pair he always wore were looking a bit worn...... Do I casually asked him what size were the shoes he was always wearing and he responded with what are you thinking of buying me??? To which I replied you are going too have to tell me to find out. He finally told me and that very night I bought him the exact shoes he always wear.... Same color/ same style/ same brand/ same size nd they were perfect until he put them on and they were huge.... Next time we are going someplace to try the shoes on first then buy them....
