I have been wearing K-Swiss for several years. This is not a dig at Amazon or the seller. It is a K-Swiss issue. I normally buy ST329 Casual shoe. I wear the Black with Silver. I saw this shoe ST329 CMF Training shoe and it was all black and I ordered it. One is not like the other. I have never worn a shoe with memory foam so I was excited. When I got the ST329 CMF Training shoe, which looks just like the ST329 casual shoe I was surprised to find there is no arch in the shoe. Memory foam but no arch. My feet hurt after wearing them. I thought boy the Memory foam business isnt all that Great! I put My old shoes back on ST329 casual shoe and immediately discovered why the new shoes hurt my feet. The moment I opened the box, I thought that the shoes looked nice. But when I closer examined the shoes, I realized that it has been used. The bottom of the shoes had been slightly used due to the flaying of rubber. The material around the ankle of the shoes are discolored as if it had absorbed the colors of pants, socks or what ever. Instead of the entire material around the ankle being white and clean, its brownish and black. The shoe was well taken care by the previous owner but its still friggin used and I was expecting a new one.

K-Swiss makes some the best tennis shoes out there. I owned a pair years ago, and frankly forgot about them. In a market saturated with light-weight nylon mesh, color infused, thin soled, wanna be sneakers, K-Swiss remains uncompromising in quality. Full leather uppers provide lateral support and a superior cradle for the foot. The sole is substantial providing sure footing and acts as a shock absorber - as it should. As a casual shoe in name only, K-Swiss is at home in the real world of bumps and knocks. Ive been wearing New Balance and Nike sneakers simply because they look great and are endlessly promoted as perceived deals in ads and online. And while they look good out of the box, often they dont offer much in the way of comfort and wearability. As a past and returning customer to K-Swiss, I was elated to find their dedication to quality intact. Yes, they are an old school sneaker, as far as weight and material are concerned, but they will last, and last, and last...

The foam insert is the problem. It is WAY to thick.When I stand I feel unbalanced due to the foam give. When I sit down my foot is forced into the top of the shoe in a very uncomfortable way. The insert is removed quite easily and replaced with a standard foam insert. THe shoes then feel great. I would give them a 5 but the foam would have been nice. Just not as thick..

I have worn this style K-Swiss for many years and have always found them to be a high quality shoe. But something has changed. First of all, I think then pair I was sent were returns as there was slight wear dirt on sole. The shoes just seem cheap. Previous shoes have been soft thick comfortable leather, these feel like plastic. They squeak worse than any other shoe I have owned. I have worn these since July and they STILL squeak. These could be counterfeit, but I really cant say. If this is the new K-Swiss way of manufacturing, it will be my last.
