Interesting that some say they are tight. I normally wear a wide and these were perfect width wise. The length was a good inch past my big toe and usually there would only be 1/4”. The soles seem to be of high quality but the back has bunching of the material and the front has rather sharp edges that might not work for bare feet, at least until after break-in. The material of the uppers seems cheap to me. I suppose at this price point that is somewhat expected, but I have really cheap bags with better material.

I had high hopes based on the reviews of this shoe. I usually buy vans because they are tried and true but I was hoping to save 20.00 and try these out. Package came quick, I was excited when I opened it because they had the overall appearance of vans. They were sleek looking, looked like good quality. I went to touch the soles with my finger to see if they were going to be as comfortable and I could feel the space between the sole and the bottom of the shoe. My hopes were crushed. The sole of the shoe was already unglued and I hadnt even removed the paper yet!!! Welp. These are going back... Bummer. Guess I gotta fork over the dough for vans canvas pros... DANG IT.

I ignored the reviews and only ordered a half size larger than normal (reviewers said a full size larger). I was able to squeeze the left shoe on but could not get the right one on. Returning (after an 18 mile drive to my "local" UPS store. Not sure if I want to reorder. Update! I used the Amazon UPS Store locator only to be send to a UPS distribution location....the nearest "real" UPS store is now 60 miles away, although they may open one locally next year. Not happy with wasting a hour and a quarter tank of gas on a wild goose chase.

Love them, but the heals have worn out after only a few months of daily use. UPDATE: 12/28/2019 I am on my fourth pair. They are great for daily use. The ones I have worm out the heals on have become great for working in my yard or a spare pair in my trunk in case my primary pair get wet during a rainy day. The prices has come done making it a better value. I am changing my rating to 4 stars because despite the heals wearing out, the lower value makes them more worthwhile. Will be buying more and stock up before they become discontinued.

I bought these to quickly take on/off to let the dog out - basically slippers that arent actual slippers. They work for that for the most part, but they slip on my heel and are basically like flip flops instead of shoes. If I wear socks, that helps a bit as the friction helps them stay on my foot/heel, but I cant do anything in these other than walk around the house. They look good, and are comfortable to walk in as long as they dont fall off my heel. I need something that fits tighter to my foot than these offer, but Im going to keep them anyway since they were such a good price.
