I got 4E but it was really narrow. I compared it with other brands like Asics and Adidas and New Balances 4E is like 2E or even narrower than other brands.

These are probably like the 5th or so pair of New Balance Ive owned. Ive been wearing them for the last 20+ years so...yea...pretty durable and long lasting. Im flat footed and my feet are kinda wide so I tend to be pretty hard on most sneakers and theyll start falling apart on me. Not New Balance. The last pair I wore are still good after about 10 years. So...suffice it to say that New Balance are my go to sneakers. They always fit like a glove. Just the right amount of weight and cushioning. And always colorful, stylish, comfy and reasonably priced through Amazon. I always recommend getting New Balance on here rather than a shoe store. Always spot on fit right out of the box. Very cool.

Bought these shoes from a local place, but they were too narrow for my feet. Was able to order them here in the color I wanted in a 4E width, and they fit well. My left foot seems to be tighter in the shoe, the same was true with the D width shoes, Likely due to a flat arch on that foot, but I honestly never experienced this with other shoes, only New Balance 515s. However, with the 4E width pair, it can be compensated for with the tightness of the laces. Very satisfied! This is My personal experience, Your results may vary.

This is my second pair of the 515s. For the first pair (bought elsewhere) I bought my normal size (10.5 D). But after a few wears I noticed they were a bit short, and my toes were rubbing up against the front end. So I gave them to Goodwill and bought 11 D here. The size is fine now that Ive added 1/2 to my normal size. But what I have now noticed is that these are super UNcomfortable. There is virtually no cushioning. Like walking with a piece of wood strapped to my feet. Ill probably return these if I get the time (or else Goodwill will get a second pair). If you value comfort at all, trade up to the 574s.

I always buy New Balance shoes as they are one of the very few athletic shoes that bother to offer a choice in shoe widths. As I take a EE width, the other brands simply wont work for me. If you have a human foot, and not an olympic athletes foot, you need to get you some of these shoes. Super comfy and they have that slightly retro look too. They are also very well built and havent shown any signs of unusual wear. Great product!
