The shoe is ok, and fits pretty good compared to other 13 6Es Ive purchased, The only problem is the insole, its very hard with zero cushioning! You would think for this price it would be more comfortable. I went to the local New Balance store and paid $40. for new insoles which puts this shoe over $110.00 that kind of hurts the overall purchase. However, 6E shoes are hard to find so thats the way it is. "I am NOT a compensated reviewer like most on here!"

I have bought New Balance 624 shoes multiple times. I ordered the same size that I usually order, 9-2E, which are comfortably large on me. This time my toes hit the end of the shoe. New Balance tried to tell me that they havent changed the sizing and that they just needed to be broken in. These are too small, period. Why cant manufacturers understand that if it isnt broken, dont fix it?

I didnt know that New Balance had 6E shoes. These are great so far, it is the first time in almost 5 years that my feet dont hurt me after working 12 hour days. Ill update this as time goes on. I do wish that New Balance had a steel toe line of shoes and more slip-resistance and water-proofing, Shoes For Crews just dont cut it anymore. Heres to hoping that these dont start to fall apart in a few months, if they make it 6 months Ill be happy. Sad thing is, 10 years ago if shoes didnt last a year they were junk and they cost less than they do now...

I used to wear this shoe exclusively and then changed to a type of work that didnt require so much walking and standing. As I recall there was much better arch support in those shoes than there is in these shoes. These shoes also get "hot" after a few hours of wear. Overall they are still okay to wear and they look as good as they always do so maybe I will just have to get an insert to finish up the feel I remember. I got these because I simply need a better support shoe and was very pleased to find these on Amazon. I will try the insert and wear lighter socks to see if that will address the issues.

I wish I have known before I started wearing outside. I wear size 12 and ordered size 12 after getting it I felt it was little tight in the front. Thought to myself eh leather will expand. But after couple of days my feet started hurting and Im not willing to wear them anymore. I like the idea of width and comfort though.
