The soles are very thin and the insole is squeaky and squishy. Very little support in this shoe has led to a lot of foot pain, mainly plantar fasciitis in my left foot. The soles are so unlike the Halyards that I also have that I somewhat doubt I received an authentic product. I have a hard time believing that Sperry could get away with selling such a flimsy, squeaky shoe in a retail store.

I love sperry shoes, specifically the Top-Siders. I have several pairs. The Washed Canvas is a good color for casual and above-casual outfits. The leather laces are great but can come untied if not tightened properly. The material actually looks greyish, at times and I can see the canvas becoming dirty quickly if not cared for. Overall, I love them. Sperry makes a good shoe. Now if they would bring back the dark navy blue with the red stripe...

Comfortable! I have a hard time with shoes fitting properly...and the "wide" size was perfect.

These shoes served me well on my cruise and matched nearly anything I wore. I like that the insoles are cushion, makes them more comfortable for longer walks. I also like the insoles are replaceable in case you need to swap it for something that has more arch support. Great show.

These are easier than the Striper I. I have both. Striper I is a bit bulkier and actually has to be broken in. Not so for II. II is more of a casual shoe. I prefer it. One of only a few sneakers that are offered in wide; to my knowledge there are no other makers offering deck sneakers in wide.
