The insole is supposed to be removable, but the heel was glued in so removing it for an insert caused the bottom of the heel to tear leaving part of it stuck to the shoe. That required some scraping to get the rest of the insole out of the shoe so an arch support could be put in. Needless to say the original insole is no longer of use. Still, a comfortable shoe.

Nice looking show, seems fairly well made but the shoe size was way off. Not used to that when buying Clark shoes! So just know you may need to order these shoes in a size or even 2 sizes larger to get a good fit. I guess outsourcing to China isnt working well for C Larks long standing shoe size consistency.

When I first tried the shoes on, my ankles felt some irritating pressure from the top of the heel, but that eased up within a few hours. Still a touch tight when pulling shoes on, so I cant usually get away with just stepping into them, but otherwise fit is good. Kneeling or otherwise flexing toes tends, like most shoes although not as bad as some, to leave creases in the toe area. Pretty comfortable for working on my feet all day long. Have worn daily for several months.

Been wearing these for a couple of weeks now but it seems to still not have broken in as its uncomfortable to wear all day. Additionally, these shoes squeak, Im fairly confident its the leather inside the shoe when the top of your foot/toes rub against them. It seems the insole are glued in and not easily removed.
