Wore these shoes with a summertime seersucker suit - looked great! Often wear with jeans - looks great! Ive always had good luck with Clarks and they didnt disappoint here. I wore these shoes walking for miles, up and down Tuscan mountain villages and they always felt very comfortable. I did feel a little rubbing from the left side of the left shoe, on the lower ankle bone of my left foot, but it was only a slight annoyance. So, cant say the shoes were perfect, but theyre pretty darn close.

The amount of work time Ive spent surfing the internet trying to find decent, under $150 pair of professional, and comfortable 13W shoes is staggering. Ive ordered dozens of shoes off various websites and returned almost all of them. This shoe has hit all of the checkboxes for me. I will probably order another 2 or 3 pairs.

I have had foot issues for years, e.g. plantar fasciitis, arch dysfunction, toe numbness, etc. I have found that a zero-drop shoe with a wide toe box provides the most comfort for my feet. My profession (college professor) requires formal attire from time to time, and to be honest, I like to dress formally every day that I teach. A typical mens dress shoe has a heel lift. Some are greater than others, but nearly all dress shoes have a lift in the heel, which causes all kinds of foot pain for me. After searching for zero-drop dress shoes, I decided to spend $350 on Carets shoes because they have received fantastic reviews. They have a zero drop, but they were just too narrow for my feet, so I had to send them back. After trying Carets, I stumbled upon these Clarks Mens Raharto Oxford shoes and decided to give them a try. I am really glad I did. They are fantastic shoes. Theyre technically not a zero-drop shoe, but the lift is minimal and the heel actually sits below the arch so any drop is imperceptible. Plus, the toe box is wide enough so that toes do not get cinched in any way. Not only are the shoes comfortable, but they are also very stylish. I typically wear dress pants, a shirt and a tie, and the shoes match my formal attire perfectly. In short, they are very nice-looking dress shoes. I would recommend these dress shoes to anyone who has had foot problems, yet still wants to look good.
