These things are gorgeous! Im sorry I couldnt order the darker sexier reddish brown, but I am enjoying the heck out of these! They are a much lighter shade than advertised, however that is not a bad thing! These shoes are beautiful, well made, and very very comfortable! I am having a hard time believing these are dress shoes! Absolutely worth the money and then some! I will happily come back to this brand and style of shoe!

These shoes are above average. I have purchased many times "Johnston & Murphy Mens Comfort Shuler Bike Toe Oxford", which are similar to these. I used to think the J&M shoes were comfortable shoes from day 1. But, since they are now made overseas, they have gotten less comfortable and less quality; but the price has not decreased. I dont know where these Clarks Touareg are made, but they are very comfortable with a lot of cushion inside and good quality overall. The shine on the outside leather is very polished and attractive. The soles have a "plasticy" feel and dont grip as well as a pure rubber sole. Perhaps that will improve as the soles get more use and are not as smooth. The description says, "Synthetic sole." The price cant be beat and I hope they last a long time.

Havent had them for long, but so far - absolutely no complaints. I bought these to replace another Clarks casual pair. They look great! In fact, I debated on whether you could wear these both casual and dress. The real answer: Yes, you can. My answer: No, because I also got a really cool pair of dress shoes at the same time. It took a few days to get used to the round v square toe. But, I totally dig the look. AND they are lighter than my other Clarks. NOTE: These have a sewn-in pad. It is comfortable and I figure I can toss in a pad over it down the road.

This is my fourth pair of Touareg shoes by Clarks! I’ve worn previous pairs to the point where the sole cracked and have come back to them again and again like an old friend. I’ve read reviews that lament how the inside of the shoe (the footbed?) wears down, but they mention how they’ve worn the shoe a lot... Plain and simple, this shoe rocks! You can beat them down and they still will look great with a pair of khakis or jeans. I actually just purchased a new pair (as exhibited by the photo) and when put up against my old pair, it’s hard for me to choose a favorite. Clarks, please do not stop making these shoes!

Really like the shoes; they are very nice. I own 3 other pair of various Clarks oxfords. This particular pair is different. They are lighter, the sole does at first feel like its plastic, but when wearing them the shoes are comfortable. The sole feels slippery while I have them on, but I didnt fall or slip even wearing them in rainy weather. I like the detailing and styling of the shoe and to me, the feels great on my foot. I give these five stars and may buy them in brown as well. I wore them with jeans, but think they would pair nicely with slacks.
