I used these to replace the Cole Haan Caldwells that now seem to be discontinued. They were my go-to for about a decade. These shoes fit as expected if you have a history with Cole Haan. The built of the sole is not good for long periods of standing, leading to pain in various parts of the feet. I find this is caused by shifts in the inner sole lining which is disappointing considering the cost of the shoe. Outside of that, I find that each pair makes an annoying squeaking noise as I walk; again I think this is caused by the fact that the inner sole lining does not stay put. This is very disappointing considering the cost. I would not purchase again.

Bought them for a wedding. very comfortable for a more formal shoe. Im generally a work boot/sneaker guy, and I dont like getting dressed up too often, however these have sort of piqued my interest a bit more into "fashion" if you will. While I wont be getting dressed up all the time, I may start wearing these with dress pants and a dress shirt much more often.

I bought these shoes for my wedding and figure I could wear them for work as well. I was worry about wearing them for the first time at my wedding, but they broke in easy and were very comfortable. They looked great at my wedding and are a great shoe to wear to work.

As many other reviews say, after the break-in period, this is a very comfortable show. They are a tad narrow which is okay for me. I am mainly writing this for some size comparisons, so people can know how it fits in relation to other shoes. These Lenox Hill Caps are beautiful (I got the British Tan) and the picture does not do it justice (seriously). I was reluctant to purchase these because of a few reviews saying that the soles separate. I havent had that happen yet. I recently discovered Cole Haan as a brand and love their shoes. These might be my new favorite looking pair. The reason that I gave these only 4 stars is because they are still a little uncomfortable after a week of wearing them. I normally dont pay attention to some of the reviews when they talk about break in but these seriously do need to be broken in. I have bought 6 pairs of Cole Haans in the last 8 mths and normally they break in after about a day of me wearing them. Having said all that, these are really gorgeous. The size is right on and details of the stitching is superb. I recommend these but be aware that you should break them in before wearing them to a special occasion (wedding, conference, etc) where you will be wearing them all day. It might dampen your experience because of he stiffness of the shoe.
