I liked the first pair I ordered. When I bought my first pair, it took about a month to break them in and then they fit well. With my second pair, they have never broken in and they gave me a permanent scar on my heel as I tried to wait for them to brake in. Also, the sole on both shoes separated from the shoe at the toe within 60 days of wearing them. The shoes look great, but Ill never buy them again.

The half size up was too loose. The size I got fit like glove when I first put them on, but wearing it a whole day felt awful. Heel dug into the back of foot and had to wear a bandage on heel. Felt discomfort in my foot since shoe seemed too tight in the vamp only after a few hours of wear. Something didnt seem right and I didnt think this was a normal break in period so I returned the item.

Got these in Wide, and they were a bit smaller than expected. Not wide enough to fit comfortably, especially if you need to add an arch support/lift in them. Tryng to replace my Bostonians that have worn out after 5 years. Seem well made with good sturdy rubber soul. But they are too narrow for me, so I sent them back If width isnt an issue for you - Id recommend them

Although it fits perfectly, I had to return my first pair because one heel sat unevenly on the front of the heel from the rear of the heel on the other. Additionally; I must say, the insole is a bit hard. I was referred to cole haan by my podiatrist, but I do not believe I will purchase this pair again. Very nice design, too bad it kills my feet after a long shift on my feet.

I own another pair of Cole Haan dress shoes, and when I need to replace an older pair of brown dress shoes (non-Cole Haan), I figured Id try another of their styles. WOW. Pain that I had been experiencing in my knees is now gone! Im on my feet all day and when I need a sleek and professional shoe that doesnt sacrifice comfort, I turn to Cole Haan. Despite not having the Nike Air like many of the other Cole Haan shoes, these still provide excellent support and grip while walking. These shoes are also quite evidently made of outstanding materials and the craftsmanship is also very high. Many people may think that these are expensive shoes, but given their durability and quality - they are an incredible value that will easily outlast their less-expensive counterparts. HIGHLY recommended!
