Ive owned my current Cole Haan Tucker Venetian shoes for 8 years. Loved every minute of them and its finally time to replace them. Ive tried 3 times now to order this shoe off Amazon and each time, similar to other reviews, the wrong shoe is coming in the package. It looks like the Grand Slip On II. Both Amazon and Cole Haan seem unable to do anything about the problem. Save yourself the hassle. This is not the Tucker Venetian shoe as advertised and does not look like the pictures here on Amazons site. Wish I had read the reviews from other customers with the same problem first...

I had originally bought this shoe from Macys early last spring. My husband loved the fit and the comfort of the shoe. I actually went back to Macys to repurchase another pair as a future replacement once he was ready. Macys was out of stock on these, so I figured Id try Amazon. And of course Amazon stocks them. Anyway, the problem lies in the shoes from Amazon. It appears as though these are not of the same quality of leather even though they are the same model. These are more lightweight and have more of a grainy, rough look as opposed to the smooth upper of the original pair. Dont get me wrong, they are still nice shoes, however Im disappointed because I wanted the exact replacement. These look cheaper. Perhaps if I didnt have a previous pair I wouldnt know any better. Im wondering if Cole Haan decided to make these cheaper...? My husband will wear these, but we will not buy these again.

My husband bought this brand/style several years ago and he has been wearing them continuously because, for some reason, these were the shoes that were the most comfortable during a bout of plantar fasciitis. (He put Superfeet green insoles into them). We decided to order a couple more pair while we could still get the same exact style in his size, and before they were discontinued (as it appears they are) and gone. The new ones look basically the same, but the leather is stiffer and the shoes fit a little larger. They are not as nice as the original ones. Hate to sound like an old fuddy daddy but it has been my experience that many items decline in quality as they are made more cheaply, with less fine materials.These these shoes seem to be another example . . . .

Horrible horrible horrible!!! My husband takes a size 15 shoe which is not always the easiest to find. We found Cole Haan shoes to be absolutely FANTASTIC!! When we saw these on Amazon, he liked the look and said to go and order them. They came in and the definitely didnt have the same "look" that his other loafers had. The leather looked almost like vinyl and they were very stiff. He tried them on and said they fit "okay but dont feel like my others". Great now what do I do? He agreed to wear them around the house and see how they felt. Well after having them on he said they felt nothing like his other loafers. He said the sides at the top edge of the shoes rubbed and just didnt feel comfortable. So if you are looking for "authentic" Cole Haan shoes, these that are on Amazon dont fit the bill. These were nothing like the ones that we got at Nordstroms. Save your money and buy them elsewhere. They almost seemed like knock offs or their seconds. The stitching and everything looked good. It was just the look of them and feel. Unfortunately, I got sick and missed the return window of these shoes. Does anyone want a pair of brand new shoes for dirt cheap?? I just threw money down the drain and it makes me sick to think we are stuck with these.

I have had several pair of Cole Haan shoes, including tan Tucker Venetian loafers. This pair doesnt come close to the comfort offered of the previously owned shoes. I guess Cole Haan has succumbed to the accountants rational demise of quality vs profit. I wont be buying Cole Haan shoes in the future.... They are also very hot to wear... Hmmm, wonder if they could be pleather.
