Not made the same as the two pair I bought before. FYI : Frist two were made in China and last pair in India. Shoe is not the same quality and doesnt fit the same-- not close. Cole Haan needs to be told of this problem. Not looking from rebate, as Ive tried to wear this shoe. Will give to Goodwill. Ive been a Cole Haan customer for 20+ yrs. Always before a great product. Did I say I bought another before the first was delivered. Now a black and French roast will go to Goodwill ------

These are my first pair of loafers. They had great reviews and Cole Haan is a trusted brand. I originally bought them through Zappos at a size 11, but they were too big, so I returned them and bought a 10.5 through here using Prime. I needed them for an occasion. They are very comfortable, but I would not wear them if I planned on doing a lot of walking, as they are not walking shoes. They are great for casual nights. And I most recently wore them to go see Wicked, as they are great dress shoes too. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great loafer and I would definitely buy them again.

As some reviews already mentioned, these are not the Cole Haan shoes I remembered from the past. The leather is very stiff and I dont imagine they will soften up to the slipper like material I was hoping for. That said, the shoes still fits well, just not the supple leather of the old Cole shoes. I am keeping the shoes and while a little disappointed with the fall in the quality of thhe materials they now use, I still like the feel of the sole and fit, albeit for different reasons than what I originally purchased them for.

The shoe has a snug fit; I have used it for around a week now and it is reasonably comfortable. As I start using it more, I expect to be more comfortable. The looks are good and it does have a snug fit over the back heel which I personally like since it gives a bit of support to my Achilles tendon. I saw some earlier comments that this is made in India and earlier ones in china etc, etc..and those seems more like a trade war instead of an objective review. Most of the items we get here are manufactured in some other country and to pull down one country while lifting another country seems not a good idea to me. 4 stars - since I have not used it enough to warrant a 5 stars; I will wait a few more months before I go for the 5 stars.

I have a hard time finding 14 W shoes and getting them to fit as described. Particularly with not so formal slip ones. The Cole Haan is a really classy and looks better in person. Fits great right out of the box. I don’t have to use a shoe horn or break it in. The sole is great with very good grip. Lastly Amazon has been a great place for me to buy and. Compare 14 W shoes ! I highly recommend this shoe ! Great leather uppers. I am going to see how it handles and then buy the Browns before they are gone. I cannot believe the price as well. Although I would pay more just to get a good looking shoe with a good fit.
