Buying shoes is risky without trying. Thanks to Amazon good return policy, I was willing to take the risk and buy shoes online. It worked out well. The quality of the shoe is high. Ive had Ecco shoes before where the sole fell apart but this shoe is ok. Ecco must have reformulated the sole for better durability. update from 1/17/2015 and downgrade to 3 stars. The upper still looks great but the sole started to show cracks and small chunks starting to fall out. I wear the shoes a lot but the sole problem is troubling. Ive had these for less than 2 years.

This is probably my 10th or more ecco pair and ecco shoes have a feeling to them. They are comfortable and flexible. This pair doesnt feel so and I have a feeling that these are not an original product. Ill give them a try since this is my first day wearing them.

Ive been wearing these shoes for about 3 weeks at my office job and they are great! I do a fair amount of walking between two buildings, as well as going for a 15min walk at lunch, and they provide all day comfort. The fit (length and width) was perfect (11.5 US). I kind of wonder if they are genuine Ecco but I have no proof/indicators that say theyre not genuine. They are very comfortable, soles dont squeak on polished floors and there have been no quality issues (cracking/separation/etc.).

These shoes have held up so well. My husband is on his feet all day at work, and he was wearing through the soles of less expensive shoes within 6 months. He has had these Eccos for a year and a half now and we are very impressed at how they are holding up. By going with a more expensive brand we have definitely saved money in the long run.

Some shoes are of high quality. Some are of great comfort. Rarely do you find shoes that have both qualities. Ecco shoes have proven itself to have both. I have never bought the same shoe twice, but this is my third pair of Ecco dress shoes. The first two pairs each lasted three years. I am a person who owns a single pair of dress shoes and wears them everyday to work. Thats what I call quality! As for comfort, nothing else comes close. Out of the box these shoes are absolutely comfortable. No break-in required and no blisters.
