I purchased this pair because I had good experience with another pair of Rockport. The shoes is light and comfortable, but the material is so cheap that the one of the shoes was already wrinkled upon delivery. The material wrinkles very easily and quickly. It doesnt look as good as the picture shows. The material is synthetic and does not feel strong and does not give the feel that it will last long. Overall I am disappointed as I thought Rockport made better shoes than this.

Ive always been reluctant to buy shoes online. Ive dabbled and bought some clothes/shoes online before and Ive had to send stuff back because they didnt fit. Ive been a Rockport guy for a long time and these are the quality I expected. Initially, they do need to get broken in -- but then they fit like a glove. These are comfortable enough to wear casually -- they just dont "go" with shorts and a Hawaiian shirt! :)

Rockport makes a really comfortable shoe. I wanted something that I could use on rainy or slushy days so that my nicer dress shoes dont get ruined and so my feet stay dry. Day 1 with these shoes I was able to walk around comfortably without any blisters.

Wife insisted I needed new dress shoes for upcoming event. Groan! These are fine and they didnt cost an arm and a leg for shoes that I will wear once or twice a year, assuming nobody dies.

They are not the same quality as my cap toe Johnson Murphys, but they are more comfortable. They will be fine for my upcoming wedding and future funerals which are the only times I will need to wear a suit. I suspect that for everyday use, they would not hold up as well as good quality $250 leather shoes, but they look just fine for occasional usages.
