comfortable, good looking, no break-in required, obviously will be worn more as the weather turns to spring and summer. Great color and looking forward to more constant wearing. Good value for the money.

I bought these shoes to take on a trip to Europe this past summer, but after they arrived and were a bit roomier than I expected when not wearing any socks, I chose instead to take my 10 year-old Timberland boat shoes on the trip instead. As a big fan of Timberland shoes I was expecting a perfect fit out of the box, but unfortunately that wasnt the case. The problem is they dont sell a size smaller than the one I bought so hopefully these will work well when used with socks and will shrink down a bit after getting exposed to the elements a bit. I also am not very impressed with the overall quality of the leather based on my experiences with other Timberland boat shoes since the late 1990s. ll update this review after I have a chance to break them in.

I have had a brown pair of these for around 10 years and they are still going strong. I got these in black and look forward to wearing them for a long time too. I wear a 10 1/2 and wear a 10 in these. The length is fine and they will stretch out a bit in the width. UPDATE: since my initial review I’ve had a chance to wear these shoes and want to share some observations. 1) The leather has a very sting chemical odor which makes me concerned about those chemicals leaching into the skin on my feet. 2) the soles feel much thinner than the last pit I bought years ago. 3) the insoles are not of quality 4) the inside bottom of the shoes feels very irregular and bumpy which is very uncomfortable as the day goes on. That said the fit is great and what I expected and they look good too. I am contemplating on exchanging them for another pair to see if these issues remain or if I just got a one-off pair. Because of all this I revised the rating from 5-stars to 3-stars. Hope this is helpful...

They are somewhat like rugged versions of boat shoes. The look has grown on me over time. They are comfy and feel high-quality. My main knock is that they are noticeably heavier than a lot of other casual shoes, so I would not want to rely on them for lots of walking.

Little on the large side but not a deal breaker, looks good and iv been beating it everyday for weeks now, has not shown signs of failure, i would say a real beater :)
