Shoes are really nice. Excellent quality, nice leather, sturdy construction and good support. The one issue I have is the sides are high enough that it rubs a raw spot on my ankle bone. I’ve had many pairs of Timberland boat shoes, and this is the first time I’ve encountered this issue.

I prefer the Timberland boat shoes as my casual shoe because they are roomy and comfortable. This shoe was no different, although it is a wee bit more roomy compared to the last pair I purchased. If I were to add an extra insole (which is not necessary), there would be adequate space. When walking around, my feet feel relaxed and not constrained be the standard D size. This is a great shoe for the man with a slightly wide foot.

Great shoe good price! Comfortable, well made, I wear them as house shoes without socks all day. No issues and look good as well. You cant beat them for the price. Ive been wearing Sperry AO for 30 years, after the quality went down I started looking for a new Brand. I love my Timberland boots so I gave these a chance; glad I did.

I originally bought a pair of Timberland Earthkeepers Kiawah size 9, they ran extremely large!! Never got around to wearing them or returning them... but I was lucky that a friend eventually bought them off me. Learnt my lessons regarding the size... always buy half a size smaller! Tried buying the same make Kiawah again but a size 8.5... but the line seems as if its been discontinued. Had to eventually settle for the Piper Cove... The major difference is that the Earthkeeper Kiawah has something like an inner band that has miniature flags around the inside side eyelets whereas the Piper Cove has an inner plain turquoise blue material. The Chocolate Chamois also seems to be darker in colour than the Dark Brown/Brown of the Earthkeeper Kiawah. They are both basically different versions of the same shoe, though for some reason the Navy Blue colour no longer seems to be available (Size 8.5) for both models. That said ... no complaints... its one of the most comfortable shoes Ive ever worn... I was also lucky that I got them under $60 - virtually a steal price-wise. Beautifully well constructed. Slightly loose fitting - even for the size 8.5. but with socks it just adds to the comfort. If youre looking for something thats classy yet casual... You cant go wrong with this.

Who could make a general comment given how varied our feet are? I have four pairs. I buy 13s for my wide, flat size 12 feet and enjoy the breathing room and toe protection. For me they are good walkers.
