I was delighted to have found this cardigan poncho cape design, and even had prompt and kind responses from the seller before I made my purchase. I then ordered the Navy/Gray. Upon arrival, the fabric looked beautiful, and was soft. I especially loved that it didnt feel scratchy against my arms. Im sure most everyone would agree that its a good idea to clean or wash any piece of clothing before wearing, so when I carefully cleaned the poncho, exactly as per the instructions, I was sad to see that the very thinly serged edge -- all around the piece -- showed a small amount of fraying. When I looked closely, I realized that if the serged edge would have been wider and/or a bit heavier, this fraying would likely have not happened. (I used to be a professional seamstress, so I know about this from experience.) So, I decided that when I had the time, I would myself sew on an edge cover, or added hem. Then I began to wear the poncho. After the first wear, I noticed that the piece wrinkled to a great degree, and looked terrible after I got out of the car, for instance. I was rather embarrassed when I discovered how wrinkled it was. This is what unfortunately caused me to give the tree star rating. So the fabric is beautiful, but for me, the edges could have been finished better, and I truly wish that it did not wrinkle so badly.
