I will be able to use this as a shawl as well as scarf. I find it a bit bulky for a scarf. Will be using it in Australia outback so until then I wont know how affective it will be against the bugs
Doesnt have a weird smell or anything. Its cream and I really wanted it to be more white than yellow, but sadly it has a very noticeable yellow tint. Reference the picture I included. I honestly will never know if it keeps bugs away because Im not taking any chances and Ill be using bug repellent wipes as well
I bought the scarf in white. It definitely works and is soft, light, and a nice large size. I do have a quibble though; the scarf I selected from the website has an attractive fringe, which imho makes it a more dressy accessory. The one I received has no fringe. Since I need it immediately, I wont return it, but I feel a vaguely bait-and-switch vibe.
I wore this in Kenya and still got bitten but not like on my neck where it was. Its super cute so for design and wear - 5. For bug repellent...I just odnt know. Id rather purchase this again than the super expensive brands anyway.
