Im 511 with a 34-35" inseam and their X longs are too long for me! I love these jeans, so many compliments. I used to wear Levis but all of the New York and Company and Gap, etc.. were always too short in the rise for tall women. Plus I really dont like jean leggings that are so trendy now. These feel and look great.

Fit is perfect for Ariat Jeans! I did notice a previous review stating that their rainstorm color was a bit more roomy and I can confirm this is correct. I have the Rainstorm, Ocean & Eclipse colors all in size 28 and the rainstorm seems a bit more stretchy overall so fit is a bit more roomy. All still fit perfect and these are the only jeans I can wear without altering but DO still need a belt. For comparison Im size 28 in Levis 529 Curvy, 7 (skin tight loose waist) 9 (legs fit nice waist is huge) in Cruel girl relaxed fit Georgia. Im 147 lbs 56" bust 37 waist 25 hips/seat 38 *** upper hip is 31"*** thus the reason I do not go by my waist size! Thigh 22.5"... Hope this helps some curvy girls out there!

A bit disappointed. Its really hard to find good quality, thick denim these days. In the small town where I live now, there is only one style of one brand (Wrangler) of womens jeans that both fit me and have denim thick enough to stand up to farm work (come to think of it, I dont think any of the other jeans have anything close to thick denim). I see plenty of reviewers commenting that this is good quality, thick denim - and I agree its better than most of what is sold these days - but in my opinion "thick" denim is just not what it used to be. I guess Im getting a little old. Ha. Nonetheless, given my limited jeans options, I think Ill keep them and see how they do. Fit is pretty good - Im 56," 105 lbs, usually wear about 4 if a little big on me - bought 26R in these and fit is totally acceptable. Could probably stand a 25 (and have a pair coming so well see). Tip for other prospective buyers: I think the trick here is to go by hip measurement, rather than waist - my waist is actually 28" at its smallest point, but my hips are only 34.5" at their largest point (though I dont think Id attempt 0 US/24 which lists 34.5" for hips). Use the size chart! (Conversion from US sizes seems to work too.) Inseam is a bit long (Im 56", usually 32" is about as long as I can go, these regulars are listed at 33," I measured them at 33 1/4") - on me they drag on the ground in stocking feet and are close to dragging in my boots. My bad - I shouldve checked Ariats listed inseam lengths. I agree with other reviewers that the boot cut is a bit wide - I wouldnt go so far as to call it a flared bottom, but wider than Id like.

I ordered the short (Im just below 5) and they are about 4 inches too long but I expected that so I was not disappointed. With my boots I still have to roll them up. I tried a pair on prior to purchasing and actually had to go up a size but they did relax. I probably could have stayed with the smaller size but I prefer that my jeans to be comfortable, snug is not my thing. They are EXTREMELY well made. I do not recall any other pair of jeans that I have had that were made this well, not even jeans that I paid much more for. I will buy another pair just as soon as the price drops again. I got the Ocean and I love the color. I highly recommend these jeans!

Ordered these for work based on Ariat brand quality and photos on website depicting boot cut jeans. Upon receiving these, I realized that theres no way I could wear these to work because the legs are so wide that they are a trip hazard. These are far from boot cut, and are more of a wide flare. Aside from that, the fit was great.
