I love, love, love these pants. They are similar to the fit of Gloria Vanderbilt Avery pants but at much more reasonable price. Be aware that while these are made of very nice stretch denim, they are a trouser style. They do not fit like jeans. The straight leg is flattering and not too tapered. Tends to fall straight from the hip balancing my heavy hip/lower abdomen area. They do have a small amount of shrinkage after washing and drying but as with most of my pants (stretch and non-stretch) they relax after a little while. Very, very comfortable. I think I will order 12 when I lose 5 more pounds. I am 5’4” and 170 lb. 32”-33” waist. I don’t like tight fit that causes muffin top so the wide waist band helps. The average length fit me well. Just long enough to wear with heels but not too long to wear with comfort shoes. A little too long for my flat sandals, but that’s okay. Anyway, these are my favorites. Best pant ever, and price. I buy these for work in black. They are so comfortable. They sit where they are suppose to. No pulling up or adjusting. Material perfect thickness and stretch. I bend, and squat a lot and they never stretch out at the knees or waist. They have lasted so far over a year. But because they are a jean they do fade some. At least where I work its not a huge deal, but hey, at that price buying 2 pair a year is not a problem. I do order one size down. I normally wear a 10, on occasion a size 8. My first pair was a 10 and they fit okay, but thought they needed to be a tad snugger in the waist. Size 8 is perfect. I am 150lbs, 57, 57yo. They will cover the top of my shoe at the ankle, perfect length. I hate the look of bunching up at the bottom, it looks frumpy and messy to me. I hope they never get rid of them. It covers up that donut, does what it says and makes you look slimmer. Everyone at work thinks I am slim(I dont tell them I have a belly like a 6 month pregnant woman ;) ) Love, love, love them!

I love these jeans. They dont look like grandma jeans, they stay up and they dont roll down. They are comfortable too. They are not very stretchy so they feel tight when you pull them on but once I got over the hips, they were perfect. I am 51 and 144 lbs. I bought 10 petite. The length is perfect.

UPDATE at 1yr, 3 months: I am still wearing my original two pairs from this review. I wash and wear them a few times a week. I wear them outside to do farm chores. They take a beating for sure. There has been no fraying and holes caused from normal wear. There are a few holes, but those were from being caught in barb wire fence. I have Sensory Processing Disorder and really HATE jeans, but these are the lesser of all evils. I still strip them off as soon as I get home, but they are comfy enough to at least go outside and work or to run errands. I TOTALLY recommend these for longevity. UPDATE at 4 months: I have had two pairs of these jeans now for 4 months and I wear them outside to work on our property and also to run errands. They still fit great and are washing and wearing excellently. These are truly my favorite pair of jeans EVER. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I hate jeans. I do not find them comfortable. I have never had the body type for them, no matter whatever my weight or shape. They are a necessary evil, because we live on 24 acres in the countryside of East Texas. For everyday wear, I gravitate toward sweats, sometimes cotton skirts. For work wear I have a pair of Carhartt overalls that I love. For jeans, the best substitute that I found was pajama jeans. I can wear those and people do not know they difference. They are comfy and wear well, but the drawback is the drawstring waist that does not stay up. I figured it was time to come to terms with my 43 year old self and buy some frumpy elastic waist jeans to replace my tattered sweats. I did some research on Amazon, read reviews, and settled on these. They do not have an elastic wait, but rather more of a yoga pant type top that does not roll over. It is comfy. The pants I purchased fit excellently. 80% Cotton, 19% Polyester, 1% Spandex I picked a 14p in the darker denim hoping they would fit ok. Amazon 14p says 30.5" waist and 41" hips. My problem is ... I have no waist and smaller hips. Their size 14 says 32" waist and 42.5" hips. Me? 35" ... 40.75" hips ... and am 54" tall and the inseam of the actual pants is 29.5" All in all they fit well. The waist is not too snug and the the seat is a little loose, but it works well. The leg length, being petite, works great. They stay up fine and when I sit down, they conform to my body and do not pinch and squeeze me. When I first wore these I was surprised and thought to myself "I could actually wear these all day". So, I came back to get a second pair to replace my tattered sweats. I was hesitant to do so because I am in the process of losing weight, but I believe these would still fit if I went down another 10-15 lbs. The reviews do these jeans justice. They are accurate and after purchasing these jeans (and a second pair), I have no regrets.

These are my new favorite pants! I wore them all day and they did not stretch out or get baggy or slide down. They looked great all day and into the night. The waist band is wide, so it helps to flatten the tummy a bit, does not roll over, and helps keep the pants up. I have a problem with my pants getting loose as the day goes on, and my pants sliding down, so I am alway pulling up my pants. Ugh! Not with these though! Yay! I love these pants because they stayed in place all day. The material has some stretch but is not overly stretchy. I am tall with long legs and the length of these pants was perfect. I wear a either a size 12 or 14. depending on the manufacturer of the clothing. With these I got a 14 and they fit perfectly. If you are on the fence about what size to order, go to the higher size. Im serious when I say these are my new favorite pants. I already ordered two more and will probably try the capris. The price is a total bargain. Give these pants a try. You will like the fit and the price. I just with they came in a few more colors, maybe brown and beige or even red!
