Received a pair of these jeans this morning and tried them on immediately. FIt excellent, and extremely comfortable. I am in love! Its so difficult to find comfortable yet fashionable looking jeans for seniors that no longer have an ideal weight distribution. I immediately ordered two more pairs!

After spending a day looking for jeans with a wide flat elastic waistband at a very up scale mall, I was totally frustrated. Im 51 1/2, 144 lbs waist 35" hips 37" (where did this belly come from) so normal jeans produce love handles over the waist band. These Chic jeans fit perfectly ! They hold in my waist , in the dark color slenderize the legs and the length is perfect . I reordered 3 more pairs in case they stop making them. I have not washed them yet so cant comment on quality or length of life. But for the price... Im very excited about my purchase

I chose four stars only because of the waist part at the very front of the jeans seems to dip down on me, so it tends to stick out, so that it makes my stomach appear to jut out more. I also believe I should have chose the size 6 petite instead of an 8 petite. That would have been more in line with the size I usually buy anyway. However, I figured I could more easily adjust the pants if they were a little too big instead of a little too tight. I will have to hem the jeans up somewhat also. What I like: they would probably seem more slimming if I had purchased the correct size for myself, I like the pull on pant feature, that they dont look "gathered" as most pull on styles do, fabric is not as heavy as some jean fabric, they ARE comfortable, and the black color can look fairly dressy, even though these are jeans. I am planning to get a size 6 petite next in the dark navy. I also really like the price. I was uneasy about buying jeans online, but with free returns it was worth a try. I havent seen jeans like this in the stores. Very glad I found them.

I hesitated on what type of review to write. But feel that it is important for those looking for jeans to wear know what to expect. As far as look, of looking as if they were well made and would wear well, I would have given them a four. But, and this is a big one -- they are sized wrong. I am in a lot of pain and so cant eat. Losing weight is the only good thing about being the chronic pain I am feeling. I have dropped two sizes in clothes. I wanted to buy two new pairs of jeans in the Just my size brand but the price was a bit much and I cant get out to go shopping and hubby. Well . . . I decided to go with Amazon. I bought a pair of Just My Size and a pair of this brand. The Just My Size fit perfect. This brand, in the same size would not go up over my hips. it was impossible to wear them. So had to send them back. I also like the less constricted makeup of the Just My Size, worried that this brand would not be relax as I wore them like the Just My Size does. I do think they are worth buying, you just need to realize you need to make them a size bigger, that they are a bit stiffer than the Just My Size and that the waist band is a stiff elastic wide band all the way around. Some will like that aspect, I didnt.
