THESE ARE AMAZING. I HATE wearing jeans, I am a nurse, all I wear are scrubs and if not scrubs, then I’m in sweats. These are the first pair of jeans that I was comfortable in wearing ALL DAY around the house. Size: I am 5’8”, 200#, 44” hips and 35” waist, I bought a size 12 and they fit great Feel: they don’t have that scratchy sort of denim feel you get when wearing jeans, no annoying tags, and THEY STRETCH Muffin top? NO WAY. I’m not a big person, but I have a little pooch and every time I wear regular jeans, I sit down and immediately feel a huge muffin top. I then have to pull the front of my jeans up to cover the muffin so I feel somewhat comfortable. But eating a large meal is never an option. These jeans have a wide elastic band on the inside of the jeans from the left side seam to the button and from the right side seam to the button. so no, they are not mom/maternity jeans. They just allow you to feel more comfortable and supported.

These are awesome black jeans that are nice enough to wear to work. They stretch just a bit so you look great in them. They really do hold your stomach in and make your butt look nice. Its the way they sewed them together. And they dont have a gap at the waist in the back so I dont need to wear a belt. In fact I ordered another pair.

As soon as I pulled them on I could tell that these were going to be my favorite jeans! These have a nice rise that pull everything in at the waist and they are flattering in the back too :) The sweetheart seam in back really works! They are super stretchy and soft. I’m very happy with these jeans! I got the grey ab solutions jeggings in size 8 Short. I’m 5’2” and they are the perfect length, no alterations will be needed. Like other reviews mention, the grey jeans are distressed, I can only describe it as runs (like in stockings) on the either side of the front pockets and on the rear pockets. It doesn’t look bad and I prefer a distressed look anyway. Other reviews mention a strong smell. I did notice a slight smell but nothing like other people described as very stinky. I’ll update this when I wash them and see how they smell after. But I think 10 min in the dryer with a dryer sheet will take care of it. I’m very happy with how these jeans look and feel and I’d definitely buy this brand again.

These are not true Democracy jeans. They look very similar, but I knew right away once I put them on that they werent Democracy. I own about 4 pairs of Democracy jeans that I got from Nordstrom Rack. I should have known they wouldnt be the real deal. They fit ok, but not like my other pairs. You can also tell that the "ab-technology" waist band is not the same. I didnt return them because they do fit OK. They are a little baggier then my other pairs. But, if you are looking for "true" Democracy jeans, these are not them
