I’ve bought 5 pairs of these jeans now. I love the dark wash. They were the first pair I bought and fit exactly as I wanted them to in my waist and thighs. I have large calves and some straight leg jeans are still too slender and hug my calves, but these were perfect. I bought a black pair next, but they were tighter in the waist and hips and not as comfortable. I bought more of the dark wash and they were just like my first pair. The antique wash fit the same as the dark wash. I’m so happy I found these jeans. I will buy more of the blue ones. Hoping if I lose weight and go down a size that the black ones will fit the way I want them too as well!

- the wife says: Thankfully I read the reviews before I ordered. I realize that sizes vary by company. I ordered 12L jeans from Gloria Vanderbilt which fit me perfectly. Based on what I read here, I felt it necessary to order 16L. They fit me perfectly (including the inseam). I expected the hips to be too big based on the size (since my hips and waist are almost the same size), but they look normal. The color is bright and the jeans are well made. I can actually wear boots with these jeans since the length is long enough. Normally "long" fit just below the ankle bone for my long legs. The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of 5 stars is because I feel they should label their sizes to match the standard.

I like jeans that fit at my natural waist and are not skinny tight, but theyre almost impossible to find. The current style is "modern fit," which on me means low waisted. Im long from waist to crotch, so modern fit is like hip-huggers from the 70s. BUT these jeans come up to just below the natural waist, and the legs are not skin tight. Im 58" and a size 6. I dont want skin tight or mod fit - just give me a comfortable pair of jeans -- and these do the job. They are well-constructed and a good weight denim. I would have given them 5 stars if they were right at my natural waist, but Im happy with them still. Okay, here is the 2nd BUT: I liked the first pair enough that I ordered a second pair. Though they should have been identical, BUT the legs on the second pair were an inch shorter! Lee needs to get a handle on quality control!!! So the best was to do it may be to order a few of the same jeans, try them on, and send back the misfits!

I just ordered a second pair of these jeans. They fit perfect. I bought a pair of jeans a couple weeks ago in a department store without trying them on and while they fit in size, the waist area wasnt comfortable and the pockets were so short, I couldnt carry my car keys in them. However, this pair fits perfect and the pockets are a good size to carry my keys. Great price and just what I wanted.

After I exchanged the first pair (had to go a size up to fit more comfortably at the waist) I was very happy. Very comfortable and just enough stretch but still holds shape and the price is right! Gave 4 stars rather than 5 because of initial issue with size. However I exchanged them and within 2 days my exchange arrived! Highly recommend.
